Hair Growth Centre – Manchester, Mr Munir & Team
It’s been 24 hours since my hair replacement surgery, and I’d like to thank everyone at the Hair Growth Centre for an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease — no nonsense, just clear explanations and straight down to work.
The whole process was professional yet relaxed, with breaks whenever needed and excellent aftercare guidance. The environment felt welcoming, and at no point did I feel uncomfortable.
A practical bonus: there’s a car park about 40 metres away. For me, this was perfect — I didn’t want to be seen straight after, so I could go directly from the clinic to my car. The anaesthetic lasted almost three hours, so the journey home was easy.
Thanks again to Mr Munir and the whole team. I’ll be recommending you to anyone who needs this service.

The worst hair transplant clinic! I made a huge mistake going to this place. They completely botched the job and left me permanent scars. I've spoken to a few reputable clinics in Harley Street for corrective surgery and they all told me that the most and worse repair cases they receive are from this clinic!
Dr. Zakar Rafiq, their main surgeon is completely incompetent. His technique is extremely poor and left me with permanent cobblestoning scars in my recipient area, and his skill in creating a natural hairline is mediocre at best. His consultants are all liars and will say anything to get your money, they told me the doctor would supervise the entire surgery, but he only comes in for 10 minutes to do the incisions and leaves to work on other people. You are basically left in the hands of amateur technitians that are unsupervised and doing majority of the procedure which qualified surgeon should be doing. This is just like one of those black market clinics you hear about that let technicians run the procedure by themselves.
I strongly advise others to stay away from this clinic. They are running unethically and well known for botching peoples hair. Trust me, save your money and go somewhere reputable, it's a very intricate procedure and you want to get it right the first time.

I have had a 2 stage GIGA FUE hair transplant with HGC totalling 6,000 grafts. First stage back in August 2018 and second stage back in October 2018.
After the procedure I was pressured into having two PRP sessions which only boosted growth of the already transplanted hairs, these PRP sessions will not work if you want to grow back hair that has already been lost. Please don’t get fooled by this technique. Personally, I don’t think the two PRP sessions that I had were worth the £1,000 that I paid.
This is the stuff that athletes undertake to recover from injury, or in this case you would have this done to recover from a hair transplant and make the new transplanted hair settle in faster and promote the new hair follicles to grow. I have to be honest, the first PRP session went well with an experienced nurse taking blood from my arm and then injecting the enriched blood cells into the scalp.
The second one wasn’t a great experience for me when taking my blood with the needle, it wasn’t done professionally, don’t know the name of the guy but clearly he was lacking experience - he left my arm bruised, purple and swollen, as the needle didn’t go where it was supposed to into the vein. I was not happy about the selling tactic used to pressure me into getting PRP. Overall, the results are decent, however more volume and density was promised.
I had a hair transplant at London Hair Growth Center, and my experience was really disappointing. Bad job ever
I expected a professional and effective treatment, but the results were far from satisfactory.
Firstly, the initial consultation felt rushed and lacked detailed information. I wasn’t fully informed about the possible risks and outcomes. The procedure itself was uncomfortable and seemed haphazard. Despite following all post-operative care instructions diligently, the growth and density were much lower than what was promised.
Moreover, the aftercare support was almost non-existent. My concerns and queries post-procedure were not adequately addressed, and I felt neglected by the staff. The lack of proper follow-up made the entire experience even more frustrating.
I invested a significant amount of time and money, only to be left with results that do not meet the advertised standards. I hope my review helps others to make a more informed decision. Please do your research thoroughly, consider multiple reviews, and consult with other clinics before proceeding with any treatment here. Mohammed Gazi

Very professional service.
Detailed information given.
Alternative treatments explained.
Would recommend to anyone wanting hair transplant surgery.
Could of explained the pricing better however a member of staff understood what I was saying. And let me proceed. Very understandable staff.
AVOID AT ALL COST!
IF I could give 0 star I would.
Reviews are manipulated from the staff, asking patients to write them the day of surgery.
Read the negative ones and do not trust this clinic!!!
I had an appointment at the Hair Growth Center on March 15th, which turned out to be a highly pressurized sales meeting. Misleading crucial parts of the treatment and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) tactics were employed to make me pay immediately. They agreed to a total of £3000 for two sessions six months apart, demanding half the money upfront and the remaining £1500 to be split between the two treatment days. I had to pay £1500 from my credit card as I didn't have sufficient funds in my bank account at the time. The doctor assured me that the best results would be achieved with the full payment of £3000.
I also specified that I suffer of panic disorder, and that I was very sensitive to adrenaline.
However, the clinic's deceptive practices soon became evident. They lied about the use of adrenaline during the procedure, despite clear evidence to the contrary. The administering nurse explicitly informed me that adrenaline was being used, causing my heart rate to spike. Dr. Shueib even acknowledged an alternative treatment option without adrenaline, indicating his awareness of its use.
I had a massive panic attack, the worst of my entire life, I had to call the ambulances as I thought I really was going to pass out.
At that moment DR. SHUEIB reassured me I would have had a full refund, but then the "management team" told me that he said that just for my "wellbeing".
This management team is completely anonymous and will answer my emails after weeks!
Furthermore, I was never informed about plasma injections before the surgery. Dr. Shueib mentioned it on the day of the surgery, suggesting an upsell attempt when I was in a vulnerable state. This lack of transparency and informed consent is deeply troubling.
Now they are denying also this in the emails, telling that I was told regard the plasma injections! I didn't even know what a plasma injections was before the surgery day!
In the current emails thy are relentlessly lieing about everything they did!
They have cameras inside the clinic but it looks like they really don't care.
The clinic’s approach seemed more focused on convenience rather than my well-being. They inquired about my tolerance to adrenaline on the surgery day, suggesting a disregard for personalized treatment plans.
Additionally, the 14-day cooling-off period was ignored. I paid £700 in cash on the surgery day and another £1500 on March 15th. The clinic's scheduling tactics were clearly aimed at enforcing their policies unjustly.
The lack of professionalism is further evident as the management team operates anonymously, and emails lack personal signatures. This raises serious concerns about their transparency and accountability.
Due to these deceptive and unethical practices, I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and intend to take legal action. I urge others to be wary of this clinic and their misleading practices. My panic disorder has significantly worsened due to their negligence, and I demand a full refund and compensation for the damages incurred.
All the staff is Indian, they were speaking their language all the time, talking between themselves, the team inside the surgery room were usintouching uching their phones and doing things that got their gloves dirty, and then injected me without changing gloves!
They are keeping lieing about all of this, they are a lot of disgraceful mercenaries.
Please avoid at all cost!!!
