Visited The Habit for breakfast with my sister on Friday and the service was very good and friendly as was the food, so we decided to return on Saturday, again for breakfast. What a difference in the service. There were about 5 youngsters working together with an older lady who had worked there on the Friday. This poor lady was running around whilst the youngsters were in the back presumably cooking. We waited for ages to be served as did the table next to us. The cafe was almost half full. Eventually we were served by a young lady who looked as though she didn’t want to be there. We had our tea cakes which were delicious. I went up to the counter to pay and although there were three of the youngsters behind the counter, I was totally ignored for what seemed an age. The older lady was still holding everything together while these youngsters were chatting and joking, oblivious to their customers. Eventually one of them asked “are you okay?” as if I was being a nuisance by waiting there. I told her I wanted to pay but I felt embarrassed at the same time. I should have asked her if “she was okay!”
The younger Saturday staff there could do with some good old fashioned customer service training!!

Have been here many times over the years & enjoyed gluten free food but not today. No bread or cakes & not made to feel welcome at all. So sad ☹️

Dont look down at us, and ckean your cutlery
Mates didnt really want to visit Habit Tea Rooms Llandudno as previous visits havent been the best ( ice in hash browns, staff talking about customers) , however we went to give it another go, but will never visit again! The elderly waitress looked down her nose at us, very abrupt and pretentious, i ordered scone with Jam and Cream ( ive never had whipped cream with a scone, Habit tea rooms take note it should be Clotted Cream) to my disgust, i was given a filthy knife with food and gravy still stuck to it from previous customer, this made my blood boil, to which i held up the offending dirty knife and tried to catch thev eye of numerous waitresses but majority seen me but looked other way and couldn't be bothered to attend to me , eventually a young waitress arrived, did chage knife but really wasnt bothered, i did notice she whispered to the elderly waitress. Also the covers on the radiators, we could see dust and grime through the grills, the bill was paid and for three drinks and three cakes it was very expensive ( Please note its Llandudno not London) we paid and left and will never go to that establishment again! DISGUSTING

Just had breakfast at Habit. Probably the lovliest cafe ever. Food (1 Habit breakfast, 1 veggie) was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff are really lovely; tearoom is spotlessly clean. Love the shelves of exchange books - all arranged by genre - cookery, poetry, children's etc. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Llandudno, we would definitely recommend Habit!

We didnt eat here but we saw on maps that this venue did a vegan breakfast. In fact it doesnt do anything vegan and the waitress had not heard of any vegan options just wanted to let people know.

Filthy cutlery and cups
Cups were dirty with rings around, askes then to be changed and the next lot was the same and the silver spoons where brown, had apple pie and very lumpy custard, it was disgusting, young manager was not interested, wouldnt go again

Lovely lunch.
Great spot in the middle of town. Four of us went two days running and it was busy both times. Great menu with lots of choice. We were all really pleased with all our different meals. One tip - the pot of tea served with three tea bags in it was far too strong - despite having a separate jug of hot water! So ask for two unless you like it super strong. I did suggest to the staff that it really only needs two tea bags! I would highly recommend the desert waffle! We will definitely go again when next in town.

Absolutely appalled at the attitude of the "Supervisor". So unfriendly and so unwelcoming but we tried not to let her strange behaviour spoil our familyget together. When we did get settled and ordered cake with custard and hot drinks, the cleanliness and the food quality was abysmal. The cups and cutlery were dirty and had to be returned - twice. The lumpiest custard I've ever seen and an incorrect order of drinks. I last came here 2 year's ago and it's gone right down the nick. The Supervisor needs a personality transplant.

We have a wheel chair ramp. We extended our doors to make them wide enough. And we have disabled toilets.
