Really warm and inviting atmosphere, we felt at home right away. The staff is really friendly and authentic, and the breakfast was really good!

Earliest check-in is 4 pm, but you can leave bags in the lounge earlier and use the toilet room on the first landing. (Likewise, after 10 am checkout.) A town map is provided. There is a large, covered terrace out front. The “Very Small Single” room #10 was fine for me, with its small shower room opposite - both are past a fire door, so it felt quite private. The carpeted bedroom has a luggage rack, desk & stool (vanity) with power bar; a kettle, drinking water, small clothes cupboard, hair dryer, ceiling fan & dimmable light and reading light. The shower is nice and new. (Could use more hooks and hangers in room and bathroom.) There’s a drying room - a real bonus - for rain gear and hand-washing. By the second morning, several more vegan options were made available to me. Carmen and Phill are welcoming hosts, and the staff are pleasant. The comfortable lounge - with view towards the loch - has couches, board games (Lord of the Rings Monopoly!), books and a chess set. The bar boasts a long list of scotches, among other beverages, and crisps and nuts.

Eine Pension, in der man sich sehr wohlfühlt. Am Ankunftstag wird man herzlich begrüßt. Mein Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war gut und vom Frühstücksraum hat man einen tollen Blick auf Loch Linnhe. Alles war sehr unkompliziert vom Check In bis zum Check Out. Sehr empfehlenswert.

The room was impecable and the whole place is very nice. Breakfast was excellent, very varied and complete. Carmen and Phill were very responsive when we were booking and the whole staff is very nice.

Nice clean room, cozy lounge with a little bar, covered patio to enjoy the sunset. Breakfast was also more than I expected. The owners were helpful and friendly.

Great location and very nice staff. Short walk to the train station for the Jacobite steam train! Our rooms were very nice with good views.

Absolutely loved the personal service. Helping me over and above with my luggage and food plus giving me a ride when I got lost! Comfy room, great shower and delicious breakfast!

Durch ein engagiertes und sehr freundliches Ehepaar persönlich geführte Pension. Leicht erhöhte Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf den See, 10 Min von Bahnhof und Busstation gelegen. Die Zimmer in top Zustand, alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist reichhaltig, man kann selber schöpfen. Ich war leider nur 1 Nacht hier, weil ich auf der Durchreise von Mull nach Skye war (per öffentlichem Bus). Fort William ist aber ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. So möchte ich wiederkommen und freue mich, dann wieder hier übernachten zu können.

Location was great: close to the town center, train station and the Cow Hill trail. The views from the breakfast room and the lounge were breathtaking. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding: wide variety of both hot (out of which you can make a full scottish breakfast) and cold dishes. The single room was really small however this was clearly indicated when booking so cannot complain. The only thing that was negative was the hair dryer. It turned off and almost started smoking after like 5 minutes of usage. It really needs to be retired already :)

The view was simply amazing. The inn keepers were very helpful and made excellent recommendations on things to do in and around town. The breakfast was hearty with something for everyone’s tastes. The rooms were very clean. Highly recommend.

Carmen and Phil were so friendly and personable. Our room was lovely. The breakfast was top notch - very professional. Close to the downtown core. We were sadly to walk uphill to get there but that’s only because we’d just finished hiking 150km on the West Highland Way. And it was worth it for the views from the breakfast room!

Hi I’m from Australia,my first time in Scotland and I cannot recommend this beautiful guest house enough.It is the nicest place I’ve stayed at in my whole trip in Uk and France.Spotless rooms ,the best breakfast ever sitting in an amazing glassed area overlooking the Loch ,comfortable beds ,Phil and Carmen the hosts were friendly,helpful,informative and went out of their way to help a situation which could have been a disaster,I will be forever thankful.I felt welcome and safe.Fort William is magical and this is situated close to everything plus having the best views ever . Will definitely be back 😊

The stay was amazing! It was booked very last minute and still every detail was thought of, the room was very comfortable and good size for 2 people, the breakfast was delicious and the attention to the guests was incredible! I truly recommend it!

I stayed here on a hiking trip and could not have been more impressed with Guisachan Guest House. The welcome and hospitality provided by Carmen and Phill is second to none. At the end of long day's hike this was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a couple of drinks in the bar. In a town not noted for good value, high quality accomodation Guisachan really stands out. I will definitely be staying here on future visits to Fort William.

Clean and comfortable with all mid cons, the staff and owners were friendly and welcoming at all times abd very helpful. I had a view iver the town to the loch and moubtains beyond, and there were gorgeous gardens you sit in and appreciate the views too. It us quiet and yet close to the town centre.
