Poorly trained staff with no hospitality skills. Not really welcoming, not so helpful & lack of understanding. No clear instructions on where & how to get keys.

Thank you for your feedback after your stay. Due to our 90 apartments, we do not offer self-check-in directly at the apartment but at our check-in office in Grindelwald or Interlaken. In case our guests arrive late, we provide detailed check-in information for your self check-in by mail or on the messanger of the channel you booked your stay. We explain where and how you can pick up the keys to your apartment. With the key you also receive our full digital guest information which explains you, how to get to the apartment, all special apartment information and all information to enjoy your stay in the great area of Grindelwald. We have numerous late check-ins each year and use every guest feedback to further refine the processes and make self-check-in as easy as possible. For this reason, we usually receive very good feedback from our guests who use self check-in, but we are aware that self check-in can never replace personal check-in. If you prefer a personal check-in we are always happy to welcome you before 5pm on your arrival day at our offices in Grindelwald or Interlaken.

I recommend you to visit us again from end September till end October for the "Indian Summer Time". Stays are less expensive, mountains, cable cars are less crowded and the wonderful colors of the trees in the valleys are amazing. We look forward to welcome you and your family again in the future.

Professional, organized and ever so polite and accommodating. . . The Griwarent organization is fabulous.
On to the chalet apartment. Fortuna 5.5 is a lovely four BR unit with a very modern kitchen and great family living space. Walking access to downtown is fantastic but is in the quieter, less commercial end of the Main Street.
Can say enough about how pleased we were with everything.

Peaceful family hotel , with warm smile everywhere, very clean rooms suitable for families with full kitchen amenities and needs , the view was amazing as well the service , for sure I will visit them again once I’m in Grindelwald.

Very nice apartment. We liked everything. Short walk down the stairs to the train station to catch the train to the Jungfrau Joch. The only negative thing is the noise of the main road

More than 90% of our apartments are away from the main road at nice and quiet locations but still in walking distance to the city center. The place is excellent, luxurious and very well made. but please all take note that the walk up to the villa is a huge climb, the hill is almost at a 70 degree angle and for people will luggage and the aged and people with heart condition it is surely a very difficult hike. The view from the villa is magical and surely one the best ans grindelwald station is very close.

بيت عطلات رائع و الاطلالة جدا جميلة و تتوفر فى الوجدة السكنية كل وسائل الراحة.
لكن واجهت مشكله فى خدمة الاستقبال، مكتب الاستقبال فى مركز المدينة و يبعد حوالى ٥ د بالسيارة، و عند الوصول لم يتم مرافقتنا الى الوحدة السكنية، و بما انا لا نعرف المنطقه احتاجنا الى نص ساعة من البحث للعثور على السكن. و خلال تواجدنا كان هناك ازعاج من زوار اخرين يبحثون عن سكنهم فى اوقات متأخرة من اليوم و بعد حلول الظلام.
يجب مرافقه الزوار الى اماكن سكنهم و تعريفهم على اماكن وقوف السيارات و تعريفهم على الوحدة السكنية بطريقة مناسبة.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to accompany every single guest to the booked apartment or chalet 24/7. Therefore we have created a detailed digital and easy description, which leads our guests to the accommodation with many pictures and explanations. The address of the accommodation is also given, which leads to the apartment in a few minutes via Google Maps. So far 99% of our guests are very satisfied with this solution.
However, we are very happy about any feedback that we can use to further improve our services and will check and improve the descriptions which you have used.

Herr Markus Wolbert hat die anfänglichen Unstimmigkeiten bereinigt und hat die zwischen uns getroffene Vereinbarung eingehalten. Das Haus in Grindelwald war sehr schön!

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eine Ferienwohnung von uns entschieden haben und Ihre Erfahrung mit anderen Reisenden teilen. Ihre Bewertung hat uns nachdenklich gestimmt und gerne nehmen wir dazu Stellung. Beim Check-out mussten wir feststellen, dass weder die vereinbarte Abreisezeit, noch die ordnungsgemässe Rückgabe und die Hausordnung (u.a. Rauchen im Chalet verboten) eingehalten wurden. Unser Reinigungsteam benötigte mehrere zusätzliche Stunden um das Chalet für die neuen Gäste vorzubereiten. Diese zusätzlichen Kosten gehen zu Lasten des Mieters.
