Amazing service!! They cleaned my dryer vent for me 2 weeks after a different company “claimed” to clean it. They were so thorough and even showed me everything they got out! Very smart and clearly knew what they were doing!! Highly recommend!!

Armed with a portable vacuum and a leaf blower to treat a 13 unit condo. Worst of all vendors in my 20 years living here. Flexible duct was not detached from dryer and cleaned per proposal. Tech told us we had to call Stanley Steemer for that service. Paid 895.00 for tech to vacuum out dryer drum and lint catch on 13 dryers. Comes out to almost $70 a dryer. What a racket. Didn't even clean the exit vent. See photo. Called Karl, the owner, to voice my concern. He said he'd look into it and call me the next day. That was a week ago. The best part was when the tech first arrived. Before he started any work, he said, although it's optional, tips would be appreciated. Good luck.
The guys did a good job with what they have but we were very disappointed with the equipment utilized. Doesn’t seem like it provided a very thorough cleaning of the ducts and furnaces. The vents themselves were vacuumed which is helpful but the air wasn’t blown long enough to really deep clean the ducts. We expected a more intense and longer cleaning to be honest and aren’t inclined to be a repeat customer or recommend these services for a suburban home cleaning. Maybe works better for condos or small offices. Nothing bad to say about scheduling or the employees or cost.

I moved into my new house a year ago and needed my vents cleaned out. Before moving, I always called Ugly Ductling. I hired Ugly Ductling for my new house and as always, they are quick to respond. They came to my house and the staff is super friendly and professional. I will highly recommend them to everyone I know.
My building hired this company for the HVAC cleaning. We were expecting a similar experience to what we had at a similar Chicago company.
This company only took 5 minutes to vacuum the vents in my entire condo and then go on their mary way. And by vaccum the vent, I mean they held a vaccum up to the outside of each vent for 30 seconds. They didn’t insert anything into the ducts to clean them out like other companies have done. In the past this has taken about an hour with heavy duty equipment and they showed us the dust and debris that came out.
My building manager mentioned he reached out to the owner because many of us in the building are baffled by the low quality and high cost for a service with literally no results. Everyone in my building feels scammed and we all still have dirty ducts.
I've had duct cleaning done be a different vendor in the past and it was thorough and took probably an hour to complete. I recently used Ugly Ductling and the work was not at all thorough and they were done in about 10 minutes, most of that time was to change my air filter not clean the ducts. I would not recommend.

Our HVAC service recommended Ugly Ductling and we've used them ever since. Reasonable prices and on-time, reliable, nice technicians. They wore protective covers over their shoes which was appreciated. Omar and Eric took the time to explain the process/answer any questions I had.
