The TSA person a tall light skinned long curly haired woman was extremely rude. The other staff was fine. The signage provided is not enough. There needs to be more signs indicating where the security checkpoint is. This is a relatively small airport so it would be beneficial. The train is great but small.

Review of Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
Chicago O’Hare is one of the busiest airports in the world—and it shows. But amid the hustle, there’s a lot to appreciate. Whether you’re flying domestic or international, O’Hare delivers on efficiency, amenities, and connectivity.
What stood out:
• Connectivity: With four major terminals and dozens of airlines, O’Hare offers extensive flight options across the U.S. and around the world. Whether you’re headed to New York, Tokyo, or Tulsa, chances are there’s a flight ready to take you there.
• Amenities & Dining: The food scene has really leveled up. From Garrett Popcorn to Tortas Frontera by Rick Bayless, there are solid eats across terminals. You’ll also find plenty of coffee spots, bars, and local Chicago staples. Shopping options are diverse, and there are quiet workspaces and lounges for business travelers.
• Cleanliness & Organization: For such a massive hub, O’Hare is surprisingly clean and well-organized. Signage is clear, and security checkpoints—while busy—are run efficiently. TSA PreCheck and CLEAR help move things along if you’re enrolled.
• Transportation: The CTA Blue Line runs directly to downtown Chicago, making it incredibly easy to get in and out of the city without a car. Cabs, ride shares, and rental car services are also well managed and easy to find.
A few tips:
• Allow extra time for transfers between terminals—especially if you’re switching between domestic and international.
• Terminal 5 (International) has improved a lot, with new food, lounges, and a smoother customs process.
• If you’re stuck during a layover, the airport yoga room, art exhibits, and walking paths in Terminal 3 offer a peaceful break.
Final Take:
O’Hare is a beast of an airport, but it’s one of the better-run mega hubs out there. It’s fast-paced, full of life, and loaded with conveniences that make air travel smoother—even if you’re dashing between gates.
