I went with my English friend James and our Indian brother Raj not knowing what to expect but we were blown away. This place does not stand out in the market place so it must be word of mouth - we had the most amazing curries x3 and the flavours were magnificent - our friend Raj was under pressure to deliver the goods and as firm critics we were humbled lol. Well done to all the friendly staff you were great - a true hidden gem 9/10.
We arranged 48 people 70's birthday at GK Loung. Kash arranged everything for us and the food was excellent and very reasonable prices.
Service was very nice and polite. I highly recommend this place for small party.

We enjoyed our meal at GK Lounge. Some of the dishes were good, some average. Wings and chops average however the seekh kebabs, chicken and lamb curries were v good. Good range of drinks

Booked the downstairs resturant for a party of 45 four months in advance...received a verbal and text message confirmation. Unfortunately when trying to confirm menu details etc my name wasn't in the "book". Whilst I did receive an apology and alternative date it didn't make up for sleepless nights of finding an alternative venue....(Central 5+ Star review pending).
My advice is get photographic evidence your name is in the "book"
I have eaten here before and it has been good for a smaller party.

GK Lounge in Ilford is a vibrant Indian eatery and sports bar that has a fantastic vibe, particularly on weekends when there's music and events happening. The food is usually tasty and nicely presented, and the staff are often friendly and inviting. That said, service can lag during peak hours, and some guests have noted smaller portion sizes or varying quality. All in all, it's a fun place for groups, but the experience can be hit or miss
Poor service.
Pathetic food taste ordered mango lassi tasted like milk and sugar syrup with Turmeric powder.
We ask for chili garlic Mogo they gave only seasoned mogo.
Gin with lemonade was ordered firstly he gave with soda and later on asked to replace he gave with flat lemonade.
Tasteless biryani.
Came here to try the dry Bombay aloo however they served gravy.
Asked for water bottle and never gave the glasses for drinking water.
Poor service and pathetic food experience.
Recommend to consider staff training and chef food tasting.

Had a fab dining experience last week with family. Food was on point, very healthy portion sizes too...atmosphere was great and special shout out to Hetvi who provided us with amazing service. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
