Everyone at center of hope are truly sweetest people they will help in need of help it's a great food bank

I love the CFH. Great people, good help as well.

The people here are hard-working, compassionate angels (and absolutely show it), but to anyone considering visiting this food bank, I would advise them to see this place as a bare supplement for your food emergencies, but not anywhere close to a significant help. You are allowed 2 visits per month, and I definitely did not receive enough food to last me 2 weeks...if even 4 or 5 days. Gratitude compels me to be thankful for any assistance I receive at all, but from an organization standpoint, something seemed off. My issue is not with the wonderful staff but the person running the numbers. I saw probably 200-300 cans of canned pasta and was allowed only 1 for my visit. It is hard to believe that the influx of discarded food and contributions are so scarce that they cannot provide more than that. Beans? 1 can allowed. Bread was limited to 1 item too, despite all the vendors in this area that throw away truckloads of bread every single night. And boxes and boxes of Ramen--but I couldn't touch it. Strangest of all: not a single vegetable or piece of fruit in sight. Unfortunately, given that I walked away with 8-12 meals worth of food at best (when I needed 42 for 2 weeks, assuming 3 meals per day) the visit was hardly worth the time, energy, and sign-up process, and I would not return again. My thanks to the people volunteering their time, especially those that made the hot meal--which was fantastic--but I left feeling no better about my overall food situation.

if you need help, there is nothing wrong with asking for help, and the staff at center for hope are the people to help, you will be treated with dignity and respect

At first this place was awesome for me an my family. Then one person that's a employee there said was trying help out. Then in return became a mean an calling me nasty names all because I an my family are having hard times. Then he got the rest of the employees to not like me or my family an now we just don't want to go there no more. Don't trust them. Sue on the other hand is hands down most beautiful nicest lady I have ever meet. I hope she fixes the employees issues so no other family has go through what me an my family has an still going through because of one of her employees.

Okay this is a two-sided deal first side got to have the good first Sue is the most phenomenal woman alive she will go above and beyond the call of duty for anybody that woman has the biggest heart she is truly a godsend now there are dirty little secrets that happen and not everyone of them can be caught I had a really bad experience with one of the volunteers there it was all well and good at the beginning until the end that particular male subject stop me outside of shop and save and harmony and was real ignorant and rude towards me at the beginning because I didn't update him on my phone number or my wife's phone number and then he progressively got really aggressive I just walked away from the end of individual outside of the store I walked into the store no I'll never be back because of that person but I just want everybody to know Sue deserves an award that woman deserves so much and a lot of those volunteers deserve a lot One bad Apple shouldn't spoil the whole bunch so if you're truly looking for help and not out to just get over on somebody or over on the system contact center for hope they are truly there to help and they will be there in your time of need please let them help you again One bad Apple should not spoil the bunch may God bless each and everyone of you and may God watch over you guys and your families in this time of need with lots of love from my family to yours

Great playground area, needs a bit more mulch in the young childrens area.
