Changing my review from 1 to 3 stars. Claims take a long time and not that much communication but they pulled through. Working through 2 different companies is tedious but end of the day, almost 3 yrs +- and no issues besides when I needed to make a claim but otherwise fine

We have been trying to reach GetSavvi Health for some time now, and we are thoroughly disappointed with the level of customer service we have received. Despite multiple attempts to contact them by phone and email, we have received no response. In an industry where customer support is crucial, particularly in healthcare, we find this lack of communication unacceptable. Effective customer service is vital, and it is disheartening to encounter such unresponsiveness. We hope GetSavvi Health takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication channels.

I tried signing up as a member for a couple of days the sales staff never called me I tried calling a few times and was directed to a whole different department I called customer service and was told that they can't sign up any new clients as there is a issue on their side I asked so get savvy is just chasing clients away the agent said yes they are

If I could give zero stars I would. They chop and change benefits and send a lazy mail. They send multiple mails a month. Quick to remind you to pay but no special mention for taking away maternity benefits,which could leave you and your baby out in the cold.they expect you to call to authorise. But do not feel the need to call their customers.. because "they have too many customers"..so "too much money" to look after customers. Understood. You think you are covered and paying, but you are really on your own. Please stay away from these awful slimy underhanded "insurance" medical.

Navigating the process of obtaining medication when unwell has been an incredibly tedious experience. Recently, I spent nearly 45 minutes at the dispensary, where two pharmacists seemed uncertain about how to assist me. It’s disheartening to think that GetSavvi might consider investing more in the vouchers we receive for the symptoms we report. No one who is feeling sick should have to endure such long waits. I find myself frustrated, especially since I had to settle for medication that I don't typically use, simply because it's less expensive and takes longer to work. I diligently pay my bills each month, and I believe I deserve a more streamlined process. It should be as simple as walking in, collecting my medicine, and leaving without unnecessary delays. Moreover, I received a notification from my dentist's office indicating that GetSavvi would only cover a portion of my costs, leaving me responsible for the rest. Fast forward to today, and I'm informed that I must pay out-of-pocket for the antibiotics and pain medication prescribed by my dentist. This raises an important question: What exactly are we paying for? It’s high time for a more efficient and supportive approach. The worst health insurance ever. Don't waste your money joining this.

Website says they're open, but they're actually closed today. It's frustrating that their website isn't updated, and there’s no alternate assistance or standby available. Feels like you get what you pay for with this service. Very disappointing!

Scam, please beware. My wife and I have been a member for the last 6 months on the Primary Care Plus Top-up plan yet, we have not been able to use any services whatsoever. We are extremely disappointed with the overall service due to not being able to access even 1 doctor, GP, hospital or dentist that is covered. Numbers are either disconnected or do not exist when searching for a doctor within their network using their "Find a doctor" function on their website. When an institute does answer our call they insist that they have NEVER heard of "Get Savvi" and are definitely not covered with them or in connection to Get Savvi Health in anyway ,even though they are listed on their site as being a part of the network and fully covered. Also we found a few doctors located in squatter camps where it felt too dangerous to even travel there to see a GP. We have cancelled our policy after wasting north of R15K on these scammers with nothing to show for it. Today we were trying to find a dentist to do our yearly checkup as apparently we are still covered until the end of the month with no luck finding any dentists that have heard of Get Savvi, nevermind being covered by Get Savvi. Do not put your faith in this medical insurance because after 6 months of paying for their highest plan my wife and I have felt like we have had zero cover for our entire membership.

Good medical insurance, but every time I go to the Doctor just for simple antibiotics, nothing is ever covered. I always have to pay my for my medication and even the generic versions are not covered.

I am very happy with Getsavvi Health medical insurance. I get help very quickly and very helpful consultants. They are not full of nonsense like most medical aids. very happy satisfied client. i would like to request more doctors visits especially for kids as they get sick very quickly.

I am happy with the GetSavvi health. Please can you have a full medical aid including the hospital plan. My wif went for a mammogran and ultra sound next week she must go for a biopsy. I have to pay cash don't GetSavvi cover for these.

I review that because the services and premiums from GetSavvi are very affordable but i have concerns when coming to pharmacies on their network because from my home there's no pharmacy around to do a consultation, and they pay some medications while this is costly when you have to buy it yourself. And it would be very good and nice if they were covering private hospital fully not only emergencies because public ones has no good service these days. Other than that I think they are a fantastic medical insurance company.
