** Warning please read this before going ahead ** Gethair is a hair mill. They want as many people in and out as possible with little to no focus on quality. I had a hair transplant 5 years ago with this company unfortunately the result was very bad. Aftercare kept saying wait longer wait longer and eventually after 16 months had passed they simply stopped replying to emails. I had 1500 crafts to the crown and attached is the result after 1 year. I strongly suspect that a lot of the positive reviews are false. Hair transplant companies spend so much money on protecting their reputation any way they can. All they care about is looking good enough to get your money. I will update this review if I can find an amicable resolution with Gethair but I'm not holding my breath right now.

I had never considered the head transplant for in the past. One of my friends had it done by gethair and he recommended the firm due to the quality of their work and their professionalism and organisation. After speaking to my friend and looking at the information available I decided to take the plunge. Straight away I was impressed by the proactive nature and response of Kaan from gethair. I sent some pictures so the surgeon could analyse if I was suitable. We then discussed the full procedure and I decided to you proceed with the the operation. The quality of the information provided and the timeliness of it was exceptional. So straight from day one I was very impressed. I feel over late Thursday afternoon and was picked up at the the airport by a driver and driven to the hotel and did not have to wait long. The hotel was nice and comfortable and checked in quickly. Prior to the operation I was also contacted by the assistant of Dr. Ilker Apaydın. I was collected from the hotel by taxi and Doctor apaydin assistant early in the morning and driven to the clinic which is only about a five minute drive away. All of the staff in the clinic were very professional and welcoming and the clinic was very clean and tidy. I had my head shaved and the procedure that were to be followed that day were explained to me. Once I was ready doctor apaydin came to see me and explain everything and asked if there are any questions. Then I was taken to the operation room for the procedure. The day passed very quickly and halfway through I was presented with a nice lunch. The staff are always caring and asking if I was ok. I felt ok at the end of the operation and took the opportunity of some fresh air to walk back to the hotel with Leyla from the clinic who escorted me and she was very kind friendly and helpful. I relaxes in the hotel with a meal that evening. I woke up the next day in felt fine and was picked up again early in the morning to be driven back to the clinic for the first hair wash. Again the staff were very friendly and Layla took her time to explain to me the importance of post care after the operation and to explain all the different drugs that are required and the steps to take. All the information as well as being given verbally is nicely presented via email and also in a pack of paper in case you cannot remember. I then walked back to the hotel and at midday the prearranged taxi collected me from the hotel on time and driving back to the airport with no issues. I've never had a cosmetic procedure before in my life so was a little bit apprehensive but from day one when speaking to Kaan, through to meeting the staff at the clinic and the doctor I was hugely impressed and relieved. I would highly recommend if anyone is considering this treatment. I also think that this is a huge amount of value for money. The package including everything and I was hugely impressed. Now I just wait :)

Had my transplant done about 7 weeks ago in Chicago. Kaan was super informative and very quick to get back to me. He was more about trying to give me the best advice rather than charge me as much as possible. Dr. Aranas and his team were friendly and professional. Made me feel very comfortable during the procedure and was available after the procedure to answer my many annoying calls. The hotel was great only wish it was closer to the city but I wouldn’t have had the time to do anything after the procedure anyway. The whole process was smooth and credible, too early to discuss results but I’m hoping for the best!

The best investment I´ve ever made. The company works with the best doctor, pre-op and post operation follow-up, good treatment. Without any doubt this is the company to choose.

I couldn't recommend Get Hair highly enough. From start to finish Kaan answered any questions I had by WhatsApp, which really put my mind at ease. I flew over to Turkey on a Friday and back home on a Sunday, and everything in between from the transfers, to the hotel, to the clinic itself were first class. I'm only 3 weeks after the procedure now, and so far so good. :)

From initial consultation with Stuart, through to the procedure itself, everything ran like clockwork. Initially I was asked to send various photos at different angles of my head for Dr Tayfun to assess how many grafts I would need. Please do your research like I did, there are many many places cheaper than Gethair, but you will end up with a poor finish or even complications as this sector isn't very well regulated from what I read...alot of cowboys out there! Dr Tayfun is clearly very experienced and up there with the best. You will not regret choosing Gethair. I then looked into flights, timing etc and booked the flights and my procedure. I was picked up at the airport and taken to a nice Park Inn Hotel in Istanbul. You are then contacted through whatsapp from someone from Gethair who will be your point of contact. They give you details of what to avoid before the procedure and how things will go. You are then either picked up first thing in the morning or around 1pm. I was the afternoon slot. Everything just went perfectly. Dr Tayfun marks out your new hairline and then a couple of nurses take you into a room and shave all your hair off. The room the procedure takes place in is nice and modern(as is the hospital) the procedure takes a few hours. The only pain I felt was the needles from the anaesthetic, the rest of it is fine. You are then bandaged up and taken through the next steps. You must follow these steps to the letter. I'm now 18 months down the line and very happy with my new hairline! Thanks Gethair!

The communication from GetHair was great, never in any doubt about flying over to get the procedure done. Very nice hotel, very common with others getting hair transplants so I didn’t feel embarrassed etc. The op was about 4 hours but it went quick and the staff were very friendly. The results were better than I expected, I was quite bald when I went so I wanted something that looked fuller but not like I’m a teenager. You can’t tell it’s a transplant, I’m happy and that’s the point.

I had been looking at having a hair transplant done for a while and the level of communication and support from Stuart and the team was fantastic from the start. They always picked up my calls, always had the answers to my questions and were totally flexible in there approach once the pandemic hit (offering an immediate refund on the deposit or alternate dates that suited us). The procedure itself was seamless, the staff in Istanbul were great and a lady sat alongside me to explain each step during the operation. I had no pain whatsoever afterwards and the aftercare was explained simply and effectively to me. Nothing but positives to say and would (I have) highly recommend. Gary

Getting a hair transplant is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever spent my money on. It has massively increased my confidence and happiness as I was losing it really fast. The whole experience was seamless and enjoyable. I was recommended to have this done here by a good friend of mine, who had his done at GetHair too, and because his transplant looked fantastic I knew there was hope! This is the second time that I have had surgery performed by Dr Ilker Apaydin. I had a combined FUT + FUE procedure 14 months ago and due to the massive extent of my hair loss, Dr Ilker was doubtful that full coverage was going to be possible from one procedure, however, against all odds, due to the incredibly high number of grafts that were able to be harvested from my donor area, Dr Ilker managed to provide me with full coverage. The density was always going to be an issue however and this is the reason that I went back to Istanbul for a second procedure, i.e., to increase the density thickness covering of hair that I have on top of my head. The procedure was as before: Start with an assessment from the doctor, have one’s head shaved and dyed black (easier to see the hairs), have a hair wash, do the harvest surgery, prepare the donor area with incisions, have lunch. By then the doctor’s seven nurses have divided up all the grafts and they are ready for insertion. This gets done by the nurses over several hours. My whole procedure was 7.5 hours while before it was 11 hours, but then admittedly there were about 4200 more hairs to implant (the second procedure always yields a lower graft harvest number). As this was my second procedure, I was not needing to have my hand held much at all and I knew what to expect. However, briefly, casting my mind back to the first procedure, which was 3 years ago now, I certainly did make a lot of contact with Stuart and Kaan at Get Hair and they provided me with comprehensive information via telephone and email. There is invariably someone that will respond in a timely manner and give honest and detailed responses to questions, so one never felt unattended as a client. Everything was slick and pretty much as hassle free as one could hope for. Get Hair was decided upon as the hair restoration provider best suited to give me the best solution based outcome. I did a lot of research. A lot. I settled on Get Hair and I was not disappointed.

I could not be happier with the customer service offered by Kaan with gerhair. I had my procedure done just before C19 hit and he was able to set me up with a US doctor who earned his money. The follow-up was fantastic. I am happy with the results after 15 months. Each month gets better. Due to the extension of my hair loss, I knew going into the first procedure that I would need a second to be where I want to be. I will use gethair for my second procedure. Great company!

Found Get hair by watching someone on YouTube who used them for his hair transplant. I contact them via their website and was in contact with Stuart. The consultation process was quick and easy. I booked my hair transplant with Dr Apayden which took place on the day of my birthday. The overall booking process was smooth and my wife came to Turkey with me. The area was amazing with great designer shops and great restaurants etc. The day of my operation couldn’t have been any smoother. I’m the kind of person who does not like the thought of operations of any kind however I was relaxed and calm all day, I even enjoyed myself. I got a lot more grafts than expected no extra cost. The only uncomfortable part was the anaesthetic injections but after that I felt no pain at all, not even after the anaesthetic wore out. I’m so glad I done it, my hair is so much better looking. I’ve included some before and after photos.

Excellent result. Quite chaotic arriving in Istanbul to find no driver there to meet us, and communication pretty awful. Also taken to different hotel to the one stated. However, once at the clinic everything went very smoothly, and the procedure and result was excellent. 12 months later, I am very happy with the results and so glad I had it done

There is not one part of my journey that was not 5 star! I did a lot of research before committing to what I see as an investment in myself and I truly believe I made the right choice. Initial contact with the team in London was brilliant and communication was timely and supportive, answering any questions or worries I had. I very quickly had the feeling of having made the right choice. From arriving in Istanbul, it was 5 star treatment again with a private transfer to the hotel, just a minute's away from the hospital, to the meeting of my highly-skilled surgeon and his wonderful team, I felt truly cared for. The aftercare was also to be commended, with again, great communication from and between all parties once I was back in the UK. Without a doubt I would highly recommend the awesome team at GetHair! An investment that makes me smile each time I see the results!

I would highly recommend GetHair. The Turkish hair transplant clinics can get a bad press at times and I did do my research. But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how much research you have done you won’t no if that info was correct until you’ve done it yourself. You can tell how good the result was from photo. I’m now 2 years post surgery and it’s still as good. I’m religious about the medication which will keep my hair for life hopefully. I know a couple of guys who can’t be bothered about their medication and their hair is thinning again. I’m no planning my second transplant for my crown area. GetHair met me at the airport and took me straight to the hotel which is 5mins walking distance from the hospital. They greet you in the hotel lobby the morning of your surgery and walk you to the hospital. I won’t lie the procedure is painful but you are sedated and are given pain relief to take home. I was back in the UK leas than 24hrs after surgery. My scalp was still numb 3-4months post surgery; so understand it is a big procedure; but 100% worth it. It’s genuinely the best thing I’ve ever done. Men are supposed to just accept they go bald because it’s so common. Well I hated it and felt completely inadequate without mine. And now I have it back. 100% go for it; you won’t regret it.
