Poor quality work and scamming. Would give zero stars if I could. Del Mar reconstructed my basement after a pipe burst in January 2024. They emphasized how they would add insulation to my walls/pipes so it would not happen again. January 2026 the SAME pipe burst, and i had my walls opened to reveal zero insulation that was billed to my insurance in 2024. They also 'fit' a door in my basement which was just a door cut in half, instead of finding a door that fit properly. I wrote this review in January but was contacted by them to take it down in exchange for them paying for it to be fixed. It's now May 2026 with Mike from Del Mar builders playing phone tag. He eventually said he would send a check, but I never received noticed on my USPS dashboard that anything from him was even coming. I was left to pay the mitigation out of my own pocket and now I have to turn to insurance to fix it. Very unsatisfied with the poor quality work and unprofessionalism

Great Guys willing to work with you and make you home yours again. Fire loss is no fun, but Mike and his people really make the rebuild prosses less painful, and in the end I now have a home I love.

The insurance company hired Delmar to replace my roof after I had storm damage. The crew came out and did a fantastic job. At one point I was so worried because my yard was a total mess. Before they left, I couldn’t believe how detailed and complete they were. From the roof to the clean up, I was amazed. I would recommend them to anyone.

My Mom had extensive damage done to her roof, siding, doors, and outside light fixtures on her home and garage due to hail, high winds, and rain. Del Mar Builders worked with us every step of the way to restore my mom’s home. Their workmanship, dedication to detail, and pride in completing her home Is obvious— her home is stunning now! 5 stars and more is my rating! Highly recommend this business!

Brendan and his team did an extraordinary job of fixing, repairing and sealing several leaks we had in our roof and siding. They were able to figure out where the leaks were coming from and fixed it, then repaired all the damage on the inside of the house. I would highly recommend Del Mar Builders and would use them again.

We personally want to thank Mike and Del Mar for doing a superior job on our townhouse/condo! Impressively, they were used to take our home from ruins to riches! Had a minor issue, contacted Mike, he and his staff took care of it immediately. 5 star customer service! Highly recommend him/them to anyone and everyone who needs a Builder/Contractor who will educate you, take you step by step through the process from inception to fruition and then present a stellar final product!

I had flood damage and the previous contractor left me sitting for three months. I reached out to DelMar, Jason called me immediately, scheduled a time to come out to evaluate the damage, and within a week, my entire basement was restored, even better than before. His team is very personable, they had conversations with me about the process, we even had idle chitchat. They even liked my nosey cats. 😄 There's a passion in these men, and they all brought something unique to this process. Definitely recommend! Went above and beyond!

My home burned in April 2021. its December and there is still no drywall up yet .. very very slow and horrible communication. After 2 years of stress and hassle , they recieved the last insurance check with intent to finish repairs and they stopped taking calls and hasn’t finished my home. I have also had to seek council since I have had several fines that I had to pay out of pocket and had to go to court because of their negligence to my property as of December 2023

I initially was hesitant in hiring DEL MAR. I’ve heard horror stories where contractors leave you standing in the cold once a deposit is given. I’m happy to say, we were plased with the service we received on our rental property. I was glad they had Spanish speaking assistants so they could communicate thoroughly with my husband’s limited English. That was definitely a plus. Once the work was completed, they cleaned up both the inside, the yard and the alley. Anytime I had any questions, they got back to me right away. Thank you DEL MAR
