I cannot say enough good things about Jeremy at Gene's Pawn Shop in Goose Creek. We were in a very stressful situation and needed to come up with enough money to keep from losing our storage unit. Jeremy took the time to work with us, treated us with kindness and respect, and genuinely went above and beyond to help us. He did everything he could to make sure we got exactly what we needed. His professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help made a difficult day so much easier.Because of him, we were able to save our belongings and avoid a major hardship. We are incredibly grateful. Thank you, Jeremy, for your outstanding customer service and for treating us with such kindness when we needed it most.

The manager wasnt super friendly but the associate was. Prices are a little high compared to actual value. Not a big selection of jewelry comparing to other stores that dont even have jewlery in their name. Worked with me a little on price. All in all i dont see how this place has a 4.8 rating. Not the worst but not the best

I recently purchased a boat from this company, and it has been nothing but a frustrating experience. From the start, I expected a reliable product, but instead I ended up with a boat that leaks water—something that should never happen with a new purchase. After taking it out, I quickly noticed water accumulating where it absolutely shouldn’t be. This raises serious concerns about the quality of their workmanship and whether proper inspections were even done before selling it. A boat is a major investment, and customers should be able to trust that it’s safe and built to standard.What’s even more disappointing is the lack of accountability. When you spend this kind of money, you expect both quality and support, but this company failed on both fronts. I now have to deal with repairs and added costs for something that should have been right from the beginning.I would not recommend this company to anyone considering buying a boat. Save yourself the stress, time, and money by looking elsewhere

We purchased a vacuum cleaner for $120, but later discovered the company behind it is no longer in operation, which means the device is not usable as intended. When we attempted to return it just a few days after the return window had passed, we explained that we had been out of town and were not able to come back earlier. Unfortunately, we were told the return could not be processed under store policy. We were then offered $30 for the item as a buyback, which we accepted reluctantly since the product is essentially non-functional for its intended purpose. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and we feel the situation and product condition were not clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

This store is pathetic I brought multiple Guns from here and the one time they get new guns in the white dude with glasses didn’t want to sell me a gun had no reason at all just said he couldn’t sell me ANY guns after I gave my license he let me hold the firearm but I couldn’t purchase it & I have no background & brought multiple firearms never again !!! Be safe there pathetic

Worst pawn shop in North Charleston for gaming consoles, DO NOT waste your time. They told my husband a PS portal was only worth $60 and they wouldn't even take it without a charger when at money man's they don't care if you got a charger for it or not and they give you way more and don't make up some BS price up they never proved that's how much a PS portal was going for they never showed my husband the computer screen and I can tell you it's completely unacceptable because I looked it up myself with the exact website they use to check prices so they can make their money it is going for AT LEAST $130 - $170 and most of them are in the $200s and $220s in GOOD condition so again don't come here if you have newer gaming consoles they will try to stiff you.

I went to Gene's and was trying to sell silver bars The silver price was $85 a ounce. They offered me $15 a ounce That is robbing there customers that don't know what the price is or even not knowing the value of their products. How can a company knowingly cut the price that bad. I would say anybody wanting to pawn or sell things I would definitely pick another pawnshop.
