Enrolling was quick and easy — I was able to get my son signed up in just one day. However, canceling has been a nightmare. You have to email the billing department, and they never respond. Be sure to read the fine print before signing up, because they’ll hit you with unexpected fees when you try to cancel. The cancellation process feels nearly impossible. Also, the classes were very boring — my son lost interest after just one month.

there are a lot of positive reasons as to why joining Gracie Barra is a good idea. first, you get an extremely good workout; i have been working out for a long time and cardio-wise, strength-wise, this has been amazing. i have a home gym but if i didn't, and was a member of another gym, i would seriously consider dropping as this workout is more than good enough. secondly, i love exercise with purpose. doing exercise while learning or getting better at something is way better than mindlessly walking/jogging on a treadmill, imho. thirdly, what you learn can be, at a minimum, life saving. i have always wanted to learn some sort of physical defense, if i ever needed (i have been in zero fights my entire life by the way). the skills you learn (jiu jitsu) are, from what i have read, the best or call it in the top 3, of self defense options. lastly, i go with my kid (12 yr old) and it is great for them, strength, discipline, exercise, social, etc. all great things for a youngster. ok, i could go on but if you read this far, congrats! try it out, you won't be let down. oh also, if you hate it you aren't locked into any contract. ok, that's it.

I visited Gracie Barra East Naperville from Japan. At this GB school I learned from world class Professors that care about the students and teach classes that anyone can enjoy, and I got to train with the nicest people. I also really liked the unique classes they offer such as wrestling & judo for jiu-jitsu. The school has safe training environment and the facility is always kept very clean. For anyone that wants to learn Jiu-jitsu from the best, I highly recommend Gracie Barra East Naperville.

I can confidently say joining Gracie Barra East Naperville has been one the best decisions I have made in my life. Training here has taught me many things, not only on the mats, but many things that carry on to my everyday life. Not only does the school place a huge emphasis on self defense and learning jiujitsu skills, but I have also learned and developed a lot of discipline, patience, resiliency and team work. I have been training about a year, 2-3 times per week and I can really see the change that it’s making in my life. Their motto is jiujitsu for EVERYONE, so if you are thinking about joining or even have a little bit of interest to see what is all about for you or your children/teen, I recommend sitting in at an adult class or kids/teens class. The classes are all about an hour each, during the mornings and afternoons, which should fit anybody’s schedule very easily. There are plenty of beginner/advanced classes for both adults (men and women of any age) and kids/teens! Along with a variety of gi and no gi classes, they are also adding MMA, judo and wrestling classes as well, so there is something for everybody. If you are still thinking about it, definitely come and talk to any one of their world class professors and coaches. Prof Carlos, Prof Noguiera, Prof Pedroca, coach Vince just to name a few of the top of my head, but every prof and coach will help guide you through your jiujitsu journey. It is a safe and fun environment and definitely a NO JUDGMENT zone! East Naperville offers a clean and safe environment with plenty of mat space for you to train, and spotless locker rooms and showers as well. I can’t say enough good things about this amazing group of people here at East Naperville. They have really taken me under their wing and are continuously guiding me through my jiujitsu journey. If you are looking for something valuable to help you or your kids in your everyday life then come experience this wonderful school.

GB East Naperville is an excellent school to train at. Since I started jiu jitsu last year I’ve split time between Downers Grove and East Naperville and the quality of training has always been very high. All the coaches and instructors are highly knowledgeable on the self-defense and sport aspects of BJJ and I always have great training partners. Jiu Jitsu has definitely changed my life for the better and I’ll probably be training for the rest of my life. Looking forward to continuing to grow and improve with Gracie Barra in the future!

Definitely a five-star. My boys are teens and love it. I have multiple friends all over the country that study Jiu-Jitsu and every one of them recommend Gracie Barra. Between that and extensive research online, I was convinced this is the best school and the best form of martial arts for my kids. Not only you get fitness and self-defense but it will teach them respect and discipline. Coach Andrew is personally making sure that everything is going great and my kids are safe.
