Very disappointing customer experience. We found gate gurus online and reached out based on their reviews. We had just moved into a home with a faulty rollergate. We paid the callout fee, the circuit board had shorted, and it was going to be $650 for a new board or $1400 for a new system, both on the pricey side as I work in CE. I said we wont proceed, in good faith the guy gave us the manufacturers details and told us that if we get the parts ourselves he will come back and complete the repairs (at cost of course). I was appreciative and investigated further. Glad I did go direct to manufacturer, the board cost $237. which was a disgusting markup, but ok, he tried to get it, it didnt happen. After over 2 weeks of trying to reach out by phone and email, my wife got through only to be told, NO! We wont do the repair as we dont repair if you get the parts, directly contradicting what was told to us. Crappy service, criminal markups and dishonest and unscrupulous behaviour. Really disappointed with Gate Guru.

A very professional organisation. Quick response to my online request to attend to our gates. Efficient phone assistance. Simon was our technician. He was thorough, clearly, he knew knew his stuff, and got our gates working again using fault finding techniques and a multi-meter rather than "blindly" replacing components. Price was reasonable too.

He fixed my electric gate which was stuck open (a nightmare when you have crazy dogs) and even took extra measures to make sure the problem didn't happen again. All in under an hour 🙌

This are a very professional operation. The Team spent the whole day installing automation to our front gates. Explained operation of gates and wiring to connect to our intercom system that was getting installed. As there website says they don’t install Chinese rubbish its well made European motors. Excellent excellent excellent… My email was answered at 7pm, the guys were out here at 10am next day. Gave me a confirmatory courtesy call on the way so I knew to expect them. Had a look, set the price. Did a very thorough job fixing my gates. Obviously very knowledgeable. Very professional. Got the job done - it was a very smooth process with no mucking around. Thank you. Highly recommended. (Compared with another company that measured me up for brand new gates and would send the quote later and start in about 6 weeks time).

After completing a form online, someone booked me soon after. My gate had stopped working and they were able to diagnose and repair the issue very promptly. Service from booking to repair was excellent. Good value pricing wise and I'd consider them if I had to replace my current automatic gate.

Update: great service post installation. Had a minor issue with the stopper. Mo and his assistant came back quickly to have a look and resolved it. Very happy I went with these guys! These guys are the best in the business! Mo came down for a quote and I knew I had to go with them because of the details of the job he took me through. Their quote was also very competitive. Bob executed the job well. The gate was bent slightly from an impact and he fixed it very well. He took no shortcuts and finished the job perfectly. Highly recommend anyone looking to automate their gate. Look for none other than gate gurus!

Someone was supposed to come check the issue with my gate under warranty. No one has contacted me yet after 4 weeks and about more than 6 calls to them and getting told each time "The manager will contact you " How 's that? they even block my mobile number on their phone system so I stop calling them. Do not offer warranty on your products if you cannot commit to it MO.

My steel gates were damaged during a severe storm in November 21 Contacted Gate Gurus to get a free quote Mo asked me to send some photos showing the damage Unfortunately I had to do a follow up with Mo to get a suitable time that he could carry out repairs He mentioned that he had been very busy which I fully understand at that time He arranged a time with me and sent Bob Lazic out to carry out the necessary repairs I couldn't have been any more happier with Bob he was easy to talk too and carried out his work without any hassle He did that little bit extra work on the gates to make them safer I would like to recommend Mo from Gate Gurus and Bob Lazic his tradesman if you are looking for specialist in gate repairs
