Untouched Gabon delivered superbly :-) We contacted Antonio for booking 2 VIP clients of ours who needed high level reservations and a tour of 6 days in Gabon and Antonio delivered SUPERBLY. We used several Gabon agents the last few years and none of them resulted in our clients being totally satisfied however this time Untouched Gabon did a great work and we are very grateful for their good service and we shall send them our future bookings to Gabon for sure.

What an adventure ! Many, many thanks to Antonio, Rodrigue, Freddie, Ivan who went the axtra-mile to make our trip unforgettable: gorillas, elephants, pygmies, dances, masks, plants, birds, and more then anything an immersion in an extraordinary world far away from any other place.

Gabon Untouched is a top-notch agency in Gabon. Their team is highly competent, skilled, talented, and versatile. I had the opportunity to travel to Gabon with Gabon Untouched in December 2019, just before the COVID pandemic began. The tour was initially planned as a private experience. However, Antonio thoughtfully asked our permission to include two Italian gentlemen. We were happy to accommodate them. Gabon is an incredible country, but it also presents logistical challenges. Three days before our departure, a close relative of one of the Italian companions passed away. We were deep in the south of the country, far from Libreville. Despite this difficult situation, Antonio went above and beyond to ensure our travel companion's timely departure. Thanks to Gabon Untouched, we had a truly remarkable and unforgettable experience. **May all who go to Gabon with Antonio as guests, leave as friends** I am a traveller who usually organises everything on my own. For May/24 we decided on Gabon, especially because it is still very unspoilt, it retains its essence and reality, and is not a set-up for tourists. It is a very safe country, but it is essential to be accompanied. Just to avoid the stress of police roadblocks every 15 kms, yes, 15k, is worth it. After a thorough investigation, I was lucky that Antonio and Gabon Untouched agreed to organise the whole tour and logistics in the country for me. They were always there for us (my wife, my 2 children and me). The tour we did was spectacular. We have seen crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, gorillas.... In addition, a fact that I love, Antonio is totally integrated with the Gabonese people. In Dissala they love him so much that he is one of them. He has even set up a kindergarten for the community. Without any doubt, I recommend 120% that if you want to go to Gabon, contact Antonio and Gabon Untouched. You can also contact me if you have any questions.

What an adventure Gabon truly offers—an untouched paradise. A few years back, my wife and I visited Costa Rica, where we were captivated by its beauty and serenity. The nature and people there were wonderful, and every park was meticulously maintained. Inspired, we decided to explore Gabon next, renowned as "the last Eden on Earth." The difference, however, is stark. Gabon is wild, uncontrolled, and utterly free. Unlike Costa Rica, where everything is under meticulous management, Gabon presents a raw, untouched landscape. The challenges are real, from mosquitoes to traffic police and visible poverty, yet this adds to its untouched allure. Nature here is untamed, with elephants, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, snakes, and gorillas roaming freely around you. Gabon's nascent tourism industry makes you feel as though you're a pioneer in experiencing such adventures. From Mount Crystal to Mama Aline's village and encountering gorillas and visiting Loango National Park, this journey is not one to be tackled alone. Navigating Gabon requires an experienced guide, and there’s no one better than Antonio from Gabon Untouched. He knows all the tricks, understands the rules, and has the necessary connections to ensure a successful expedition. If you're seeking a genuine adventure, to see nature as it existed a thousand years ago, untouched by human influence, I highly recommend contacting Antonio for a tour. It's an unforgettable experience.

We had the misfortune of working with Antonio Anoro and Gabon Untouched for our recent trip to Gabon. As experienced travelers, we found Antonio to be extremely disorganized and lack transparency prior to our trip. On arrival in Gabon we were assigned a local guide, who we found to be knowledgeable and organized. However, as part of our trip we participated in a Whale Watching tour in Port Gentil with a French boat operator who is a connection of Antonio. Our local guide had no prior experience with this individual. The boat driver was reckless and unprofessional from the start of our trip. He appeared to be intoxicated, and ultimately crashed the speedboat we were in, causing serious injury to our local guide and to my travel companion. Our guide required immediate hospitalization and my companion repatriated at her own cost the following day to receive medical care for her injuries. Antonio Anoro’s behavior following this horrific incident was disgraceful and illegal. We asked for a police report to be filed against the boat driver - not only did Antonio refuse to do this, he has refused to provide us with the details of the driver to allow us to file a report / claim, and protect future customers. Antonio not only did not provide any support to our local guide, who faced medical bills and loss of work following the incident, he went on to threaten and bully him to ensure he did not speak up or report the incident. Antonio also refused to take any responsibility for the significant costs and losses incurred by myself and my travel companion following the incident. I urge any traveler to avoid working with Antonio Anoro or Gabon Untouched, for your own personal safety, and for the safety and wellbeing of the local Gabonese Guides which he exploits. You will be risking your personal wellbeing if you work with Antonio Anoro, and you will be contributing to the abuse of locals and Gabon.

There wasn't a logistical challenge too big or too small for Gabon Untouched to solve! They were able to quickly put together a bespoke trip for me to a remote part of the country, complete with an excellent driver (Sekou) and guide (Yannick). Once on the ground, Yannick was able to solve every issue that came our way, from finding fuel when the entire town ran out, to quickly repairing our vehicle when someone backed into us. Gabon Untouched was even able to arrange a private Cessna flight, despite everyone else I spoke to in Gabon telling me that this was impossible. On top of their logistical prowess, Antonio and his colleagues are also simply a delight to hang out with. I highly recommend them for all of your Gabon-related needs!

Gabón es un país increible por sus paisajes, su fauna, su gente y su cultura. Y disfrutarlo con Gabon Untouched fue la mejor elección. Sin duda, tener a Antonio como guia fue un privilegio. La experiencia no habría sido la misma sin él.

As an independent-minded traveler, I am hesitant to join organized group tours. Gabon is a challenging destination for a solo traveler for a number of reasons, but Antonio and his team lead trips that are organized in the spirit of adventurous "off the beaten path" travel. There are a certain amount of hassles and setbacks you might expect from travelling in this part of the world, and this organization is incredible at navigating these unexpected roadblocks. Really, I was shocked at how well a two week trip worked logistically, given the unreliable transportation/less than desirable roads/generally un-hurried vibe of the (awesome) people in Gabon. Aside from running an incredible trip, the mission of this organization is firmly set in sustainable travel. Gabon Untouched will take you to places far away from the mainstream with the intention of supporting the communities who host and share their culture and lives with travelers. The organization's projects directly support schools and medical facilities in "untouched" areas of Gabon. It can be awkward as a privileged traveler to enter these spaces as a tourist, where you wonder about your encroachment on a community. But with Gabon Untouched you can rest assured that your money and tourism are lifting up communities in positive ways. Gabon is a very special country, and if you want to experience the unique indigenous cultures and spectacular natural wonders, Gabon Untouched is the way to go.
