Worst moving company Fusion scores 10 out of 10 for the sales visit and the packing team. The packing team was a great team of hard working guys, dedicated to taking such care of packaging our items. The biggest downfall of Fusion is their logistics team and office team who have no experience and make big mistakes and score 0.1 out of 10. I would not recommend Fusion only because their office and logistics is so poor and unethical. Some months ago our move coordinator at Fusion was assigned by them to Mildred. She left the company. Then Aarty was assigned to be our move coordinator. I have moved many international times, with several companies and Aarty takes the cake for being the rudest and filled with false promises. She was shouting at us on the phone several times. After day 1, Aarty phoned saying can we move the container packing to 2 days away, which is not what we signed in the agreement. It is clear then that she had not booked a 20 foot container. We are emigrating so this was stress we could not welcome, as we were running to a tight schedule. Finally after many fights, Aarty agreed to keep the container booked as is on 2nd day. On the 2nd day morning Aarty emailed (did not have dignity to phone us, so lucky we checked our emails on move day), to say the container will reach 1-2pm. The packing team finished packing all items and we all sat on the street waiting for the container to arrive. Then Aarty phones to say that Fusion will not bring the container to the door since our security would not allow it. We said we know! We told Cathy during the sales meeting AND again the packing team the day before that the container cannot come to our door, we need a truck. Aarty shouts at us that it’s a headache for them to send a truck and it will delay. So we pulled up several previous emails as proof to Fusion that they agreed the container will wait outside the complex gate and it’s part of the quote. They sent a second truck. We requested a manager or owner from Fusion to phone us, instead of dealing with Aarty, but apparently they don’t have any managers or owners. Cathy from Fusion sales began trying to help us since Aarty had trouble delivering the container. Then no container arrived and our goods were packaged on the truck. Fusion asked us to send the truck to their warehouse to store. We refused as it should go direct into the container as per agreement and payment already made in full. We agreed the truck can go to Fusion warehouse and meet the container, with me, to transfer goods to the container and go straight to the port. We arrived on a road pavement on the street in Al Quoz where they said we must begin transfer, with pedestrians around us literally on the side of the road in the middle of an industrial area. I refused as this was unacceptable and after several conversations, they then led me into a nearby warehouse. Which is NOT for Fusion only, but many moving companies storing everyone in the public goods, like a storage yard for moving companies. There was hardly any light, no manager, just me and the packing team. I managed the movement of the items from the truck into the container. The inventory that was taken by Fusion was riddled with errors. Finally at midnight the container was packed, sealed and on its way to port. Fusion should be paying me for managing and leading the move. Further to this our nightmare continued, as the arrival date in Australia was set for 28 February, however due to POOR logistical planning on their part. The container ended up only arriving at port on 22 March, a full month later. Fusion used the excuse that this was “Beyond their control” as it was on the ship. This is while we had to live without any furniture at all in our home as we had planned this all to arrive on 28 Feb as falsely promised by Fusion. At one stage the container was off loaded and stored in Singapore, when we asked fusion about this. They denied it and said it was on the ship on its way to Australia. When I send them proof of the tracking they still denied it. Only a few day later did they agree that it was now sitting in storage in Singapore waiting to loaded on a different ship. Again this was “this was beyond their control”. The whole fiasco got worse, when the local mover informed us that Fusion had failed to pay them. Although Fusion had been paid in full by us on the 20 December 2023!!! To add insult to injury Fusion claimed that they had made payment but didn’t understand why it hand not gone through. They blamed the Holy month of Ramdan as banks where working shorter hour and said again “it was beyond their control”. According to fusion they made 3 attempts to pay, but the Australian bank was rejecting it….. At this stage none of their excuses carried any weight and we had fully lost trust in them. After multiple days of fighting to get them to pay, they payment was released and the local agent delivered our household belongings to us. Till date NO Management has contacted us from Fusion, although we made multiple requests to speak to one. We Highly recommend that you do not use them, as this was a nightmare.
