When my husband and i wanted to buy a vacation home in the DR, we started researching. We found a house that was listed by James with Blue Sail Realty. We didnt know him, no one referred him. But once we talked with him we knew he was top notch and we could trust him. When you are selling your house we all know how stressful it can be. Where to start? What to do? So many things! It is like taking on a part time job! I was very fortunate to have a good friend who recommended James to me when I was listing my house. I still remember sending that first email to him just asking questions. To my surprise, within minutes I had a response from James. I knew right away things were going to go well. Things just took off right from there. I was so nervous with the many things to do while selling the house. James was always there night or day to answer my endless crazy questions. If I was stuck figuring out something he was right there to solve it. He was always upbeat, calm, and professional. Many back and forth WhatsApp messages figuring things out. Preparing for the showings were great as I knew what to expect from James. I was always kept up to date with what was going on. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and very business like. He had many showings for my house and the BEST part he was able to sell it in just a little over four months. How cool that? I am over the moon with how wonderful James is and handling the whole sale process. 100% am going to be recommending James and his company for buying or selling your home. We had a last minute snag in the house closing. I ended up in the hospital the day of the close with Dengue. James was smoothly able to reschedule with no issues. I dreaded selling my house but thanks to James he turned it around and it was such a positive experience. This is the guy you want if you are selling or buying property.

James and his team at Blue Sail Realty and Property Management are absolutely the best group to work with in Cabarete and the surrounding areas along the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. I have purchased two properties using Blue Sail and both transactions went smoothly and every detail was explained and handled properly. This is especially important if you are not used to buying property in the DR. The process is not difficult but it is different than in the US or Canada which can be a little intimidating for a first time buyer. I recommend James without reservation if you are interested in property in the DR!
