It pains me to write this, because I’ve been a loyal customer of Advanced Fuller for years and have had great experiences with some excellent therapists. I have also often recommended this place to others.
However, today’s visit was very different. I was assigned a therapist named, Peggy. Per usual with my massages, I requested a focus primarily on my neck/upper body due to chronic neck pain. She immediately pushed back and told me she had to do full-body and doesn’t do half-body, 90-min massages. When I tried to reassure her that I routinely get deep tissue work on this area, including at this very school, she responded, “Well, then you need to schedule with one of the other therapists who would be willing to do that because my work won’t support that.” She even pressed me about canceling and rescheduling with someone else. Her tone was so unprofessional and rigid, that it really caught me off guard.
I could have overlooked this if she did some amazing work but, sadly, the session itself didn’t go much better. She was not warm or gentle in her approach when moving from one area of the body to another. Instead of calmly folding and adjusting the blankets, she would fling them around haphazardly. At one point, she pressed so sharply on my elbow that I flinched, and when I reacted, she very condescendingly asked if my elbow was having pain before the session. When I told her it did not hurt beforehand, she brushed it off as being connected to my shoulder even though it was clearly from her overly aggressive technique.
This experience was disappointing because it was such a shift from what I’ve come to expect at this school. I’ve never had a therapist outright refuse a reasonable request or be this rigid. Most therapists are willing to honor client requests or at least be willing to work with you — not argue. I’m still grateful for the great sessions I’ve had here in the past, but today’s experience left me pretty frustrated and unsure if I’d return.

I've never had a therapist outright refuse a reasonable focus area request or be this rigid when asked. Most therapists I've worked with are usually willing to accommodate or at the very least try to work with you. Regrettably, this experience was both uncomfortable and disappointing. I've had so many great visits here in the past, but now I'm honestly not sure I'll return.
I went yesterday with my partner for a couples massage. I dont remember the names of the masseuses we had, but they were both great! I almost fell asleep during it lol. My partner enjoyed his massage as well. We are planning to go monthly to relieve some stress and relax. Very good prices for the quality!

This place is amazing! The massages are great :)
I've been here twice now and as a soon-to-be first-time-mother, this place is a life saver. The price is more than fair and the masseuse really know what they are doing. They have listened to the complaints I've made about my body pains and really honed in on remedying those areas.
The only thing that might not be everyone's vibe would be the fact that the sheets and rooms look to be styled as old and not very modern. However, when you're enjoying your massage and your eyes are closed ... who cares !
Overall 10/10 recommend :)

Went for a couples massage with my wife and had an good experience, overall. There were a few bumps here and there that I tried to ignore, but then it will still pop up in my head every once in a while.
The first being the person who handles business in the front. Overall I know I can have an attitude problem when I feel overwhelmed...so I tried being understanding, however the person handling check ins and bookings was so blunt to the point where a it bordered the line on extreme rudeness. Several times I had to catch myself from snapping back.
Another problem we encountered was when we were finally called back to the room with both our masseuse's.. my masseuse snatched the paper out of my hand immediately, again. I had to pause from reacting to that. I will say she gave a very good massage and more than likely, I will come back but now I feel like I need to warn myself ahead of time that some people there are just are going to be rude, which should not be the case. We are here to relax, not be on guard.
My husband and I go to Advanced Fuller School of Massage every weekend for a couples massage! We love this place! Dana is his favorite massage therapist and Pat is mine! We look forward to this special time together and the massages are so therapeutic! Walter and Nancy run the show and they are amazing people. We tell all of our friends about them! They are very dear to our hearts! Thank you for all you do! ♥️

I’m here to praise my amazing massage therapist Dana. As a disabled veteran, I’ve been struggling with long term neck and back pain. Over the four years she has been working on me, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in my day to day chronic pain. Her knowledge of the body and deep tissue technique surpasses any of my previous experience with other massage therapist. Deep tissue massage may not be for everyone, but if you allow yourself to tolerate any discomfort you may experience the results are phenomenal.
Also, I can’t forget to praise the incredible front desk receptionists Dana, Cindy, and Jennifer. Your ability to manage the front desk with long line of clients checking in and out , while answering the phone at the same time is astonishing.

Decided to try massage for chronic pain issues I have been experiencing and gave this place a try. I left after an hour and a half session yesterday feeling great relief and woke up feeling better than I have since these issues started. Very professional, I felt safe and respected and would definitely recommend the fuller school ! Thank you guys!

I always have a great experience when I come here. I live in Atlanta, GA and always come when I'm in town. The receptionist staff are very accommodating and friendly. Jimmy was my massage therapist and he was phenomenal. I feel fantastic!

My wife and I tried to go as often as possible. They offer a variety of massages and even a couples room. You have the choice between a student or graduate, and even then you still are going to come out relaxed.
The only downside that I can think of is that you have to make your reservations in advance because they are so busy. I highly recommend the deep tissue massage.

I came in a couple years ago and the therapist said she would contact me to schedule our next session and I didn’t hear back from her. It was my first massage so I wasn’t sure how it worked. The only reason I ended up scheduling again was because I had a partial gift certificate left. When I called to schedule, I told them I wanted someone who would do firm/deep massages. I was scheduled with Erica and have been coming back ever since. She has been working through pain and knots in my whole body and I’m getting relief that I’ve needed for a while. Giving 4 stars because scheduling/payments are awkward in a way and explanations from reception are lacking.
