Having a roof replaced can be a very stressful endeavor. In the past, I have two bad experiences in other Texas cities. We felt rushed to pick a vendor due to the damage that needed immediate repair and time sensitivity of the claim.
We were very fortunate to know Wayne & Jeff from SBS Construction would specialize on construction projects in the Texas Hill Country. They are pros, know their business and worked closely with subcontractors and helped significantly with our insurance adjuster on the claim. SBS advised us to upgrade our roof to Galvalume (metal) to help lower our electric bills and extended the life and value of our home. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Unfortunately, SBS refuses to complete repairs that were caused by their contractors. I have tried several times to contact them without any response. Electrical was cut during the renovation. Tile was not completed all the way around the shower. The plumbing does not drain correctly. SBS also didn't keep track of how much I paid and tried to get me to pay extra to fix issues that were caused by their neglect. Any help in getting a resolution would be greatly appreciated.
Your response to the review shows you refuse to take responsibility for your actions and those of your contractors. Work that has to be done because they do not follow directions or break something does not get paid for. The plumbers combined pipes that were previously separated. That caused the issue. Your framers pinched the cable wire. That caused additional repairs. Your electricians cut power to all of our outside outlets. That caused an issue. You did not check measurements. You asked for additional payments that were not in the contract. I tried to be fair. But I refuse to pay extra for repairs. I did pay extra for all authorized expenses.
Jason, we made several return trips attempting to resolve any remaining issues at no charge. If fact we spent more than $2000 in an effort to bring resolution. Your drain issue was caused by your outside drain being connected to a 1 inch hose. Correcting that is beyond our initial scope of work agreement. As far as additional charges, you verbally approved change orders but then refused to pay for them, stating "thats too much." I apologize that we were not able to satisfy you completely.

My house burned down a year ago and SBS Construction rebuilt my house and did a more than excellent job. I can't say enough about SBS, other than, if you are going to build a house, call Wayne at SBS!
