Went in at almost closing (didn't realize, we were walking around Americana and everything else was packed). The staff is super friendly and was able to accommodate.
At sit in, you get an order of chips and salsa. Due to the business of a weekend shift, it took a little longer for the food to come out. It's a nice lively restaurant to sit and have drinks and tapas. Not to sit and have a full meal.
Nacho portion was huge, but 1 standard taco is $8. Food was good, but nothing crazy or different from an average Mexican restaurant or taco stand.
Stopped to eat after shopping, chips & salsa just ok, drinks where great (coconut margarita & michelada cubana) and tasty, pozole had a satisfying taste and tacos where great, parking across and they validate up to 2 hours, for sure we are coming back next time we are here shopping again.

Fajitas Mixtas at Frida Mexican Cuisine is a solid choice. The grilled chicken and tenderloin strips were flavorful and tender, nicely complemented by the sautéed tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions. The sides were just as good--the rice and refried beans were classic, and the guacamole was fresh. The handmade flour tortillas really tied everything together, making each bite feel authentic and satisfying. If you're in the mood for something hearty and well-prepared, this dish won't disappoint.

Very disappointed. My family and I have been to Frida's lots of times in the past and decided to go to dinner last night. We should have known something was off when the restaurant was not busy at peak hours. Our food was bland and my margarita had no alcohol in it. Not sure if the ownership has changed but they need to do something to fix it. I normally order the chicken mole and usually it is a piece of chicken breast with mole on top. It use to come with refried black beans as well. They must have changed it because I got watered down shredded chicken, regular refried beans and the mole had no flavor. We also ordered the Queso fundido and it was a glob of cheese with a sprinkle of bright red chorizo, which had no flavor are well. I also noticed that the big picture of the Virgen de Guadalupe, they use to have in the waiting area was gone. That should have been a sign for us to not eat there. We will not be going back. The only good thing was our server. He was very attentive in us and accommodating.
Potential wasted. Great location. Wonderful atmosphere. Good service. Tasty margaritas and chips and salsa. The hopes were so high...and then the food came. Such a disappointment. They need to learn about something called salt, and another called flavor. Both lacking making everything bland and uninteresting. It just wasn't good. After walking by and wanting to try it so many times I'm so extremely disappointed by the experience. I should have checked Yelp reviews first!
