3 stars because nearly half of the facility is closed. The parts that are open do have a good collection of plants. But there is a lot of lost potential- the place could be maintained much better, more seating could be added and new features like a fountain could be added. Everything looks pretty dated.

Very nice park and green house. There are two big sized green house (garden) in the park. A lot of healthy plants inside the green house and you can just walk around freely to enjoy admiring the plants there. For example you can see some cactus plants, money trees and lots of different types of plants that i cannot named them all here.
This garden is a very chill place. You can just sit down and relax on a bench inside to enjoy a warm afternoon.
One of the green house has small ponds and there were some turtles and fishes, also a little fountain as well.
A very good place for family to visit.
My daughter and I recently visited Allan Gardens on our trip to Toronto. It beyond exceeded my expectations! What a beautiful little slice of paradise amongst a busy city! We went on a Saturday and were so delighted to find they had organized a scavenger hunt! We went expecting a quick walk around, but we ended up staying for close to an hour! The staff were helpful and so pleasant.
I highly recommend checking out Allan Gardens if ever in Toronto!
We will be back for sure :)

Absolutely beautiful! Great place to visit. It's definitely fun if you're really into exotic tropical plants. There is much to see, and the variety inside is just gorgeous; it feels like paradise. Cozy and warm experience during the winter, and the decor is amazing and seems well-maintained and taken care of. My husband and I were here 30 years ago for our wedding now, and it still looks wonderful. Would recommend going earlier on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Check it out and enjoy the scenery.
I went to the garden peak in winter and it was such a refreshing change of scenery. Seeing all the greenery made my day! It’s well-maintained and great for taking pictures, but it can get a bit awkward to walk if there’s a lot of people there, so plan your visit during afternoon or morning may be.
