They have an absolute psycho who has had multiple road rage incidents and they don’t do anything about it. He’s on camera trying to get into a woman’s car and the company defends him. Would not do business ever.

I use FP for my home projects (been there about a dozen times) , very nice staff, great selection.. just drive up.. pick out what you want.. the forklift operators grab what you need, weigh it, drop it in your trailer, go pay inside and off you go.. office staff is always very pleasant.. Update 11/19/24 - This place is still amazing!

Woman who works in the office is kind, but their delivery fee of $200 and coordination feels like a scam . I was told 1-3 days for delivery. Get a call at 4 pm that they are delivering it in 1-2 hours. My job still needed concrete to set. 1 day = 24 hours in my head. I offered to pay more for a next morning delivery— too bad nothing they can do. Now I will have to hire a fork lift driver on top of the substantial delivery fee.

I’d never do business with FP Legacy. They sold me the only aggregate stabilizer they carry, G3 by Technisoil, after showing me a sample of stabilized pea gravel in the store that was hard as nails. The price was $200 for two 5 gallon jugs. I needed it for a commercial job at a busy restaurant so completion of the job was very time sensitive and the budget was rigid. After 12 hours of preparing the site and pea gravel, I applied the product and installed it. It did not work at all. I called FP Legacy for their help in troubleshooting the issue. They said I just needed to “reapply” and add another coat”. I drove the 30 minutes back to their store and purchased another 5 gallons. After adding another coat, it still didn’t work. So after 2 hours of drive time and $300 dollars the product was a complete failure. At this point the restaurant manager and owner were coming down on me aggressively to finish the job and I had other clients urgently waiting on me that I had to get to. I called FP legacy to get a refund or store credit and they refused. I called the manufacturer, Technisoil, and they informed me that FP Legacy completely, 100%, misrepresented the product and that what they sold me was not for that use at all. The sample they showed me was for another Technisoil product that FP Legacy doesn’t carry called Ekoflo that costs $100 per gallon. I ended up having to hire a subcontractor to finish the job as I had out of state work I had to get to. The subcontractor cost me $2000. I’ve called FP legacy on a couple of occasions to see if they would make good on their mistake and they arrogantly refuse to extend anything back to me for their mistake. As the owner of a rapidly growing landscape company in Austin, I feel that they made a bigger mistake by not making any attempt for a refund or credit. They essentially passed up hundreds of thousands of dollars of my business projected over years to uphold their no refund policy on $300. That’s a pretty counter productive policy if you ask me.

Don’t bother making the trip out here based on what they tell you. I came all the way from round rock to pick up materials they told me they had ready for me not only to be told they didn’t have them, nor did they carry them, despite giving me the price on the phone prior to making the trip. Also, beware they charge an additional 3% in all card transactions to encourage cash only sales, which is super shady and not a common practice anywhere else. The price difference makes their products not competitive in price to any other supplier.
