WARNING: If you have a disability or trauma history, this ER is dangerous. I arrived with a visible allergic reactions on my face, possibly even a chemical burn from a cleaning accident, and my lungs were burning enough to be painful to breathe. Because I arrived via paramedics who "profiled" me as a psych case, I was met with systemic "Psychiatric Discrimination."
They denied me food, water, and basic dignity for 24+ hours. When I advocated for the physical tests I urgently needed (lungs/bloodwork), I was mocked. The head doctor shamed me for "wasting time," claiming "everyone has trouble breathing."
I agreed to stay in psychiatry only to get strength back, but was denied sleep and given heavy tranquilizers instead of allergy care. When I saw someone with a similar case get them and kindness, I begged for them. They weaponized my distress—caused by their own neglect—to justify kicking me out in a hospital gown! They don't see patients; they see "labels" to be silenced. If you are vulnerable and alone, you are not safe here. They criminalize the act of begging for your life AND accuse you of being suicidal at the same time! It's maddening and life threatening. But so many hospital and health "care" workers do that.
Distress can be a symptom of physical pain, obviously. But if you have obvious distress no one will believe your physical pain even if you bleed. Even when I got hit by a car the Laval hospital denied me. I hoped better in montreal, but we need to change the way we see distress. What if it was always a manifestation of physical disease and we left them to suffer without dignity, care and hope? It is for me, and the terror of being abandonned by health care is real. It's not a mental syndrome of persecution, it's stigma. And it's even worse than giving lower care to mentally ill people. It's to invent mental labels to justify abandonning normal people in need! Someday it might be you if you're vulnerable enough! Everyone grow old, why not make respect the norm now and see how good mental health improve for us all? Let's save money by stopping to make people in pain run around in a maze, and get real help at the first door! And if we notice that we just don't know how, instead to gaslight patients, let's figure it out together as equals. My body has bio feedback. The anxiety and depression is actually self care guides towards health. And psychological violence doesn't improve mental health with control, it destroys it!
Kinda bit lost ther but follow up with the doctor right on time and I like the restaurant there too and outside view

I had an emergency last weekend and this was the closest place to my apartment so I took an Uber over a year. The initial wait time was slow, but once I saw a doctor, I got a good care. They immediately took care of the pain and I got free service for the whole afternoon. They also gave me some food and gave me good advice for the future.

The hospital is so efficient and comprehensive and we are so impressed with all the departments we have had to visit. They are truly exceptional, compassionate and professional, embodying outstanding care with each encounter. We appreciate you and are grateful beyond words.

I arrived at this hospital at 1:00 a.m. last night.
I had a toothache, and my cheek started to swell after I started taking antibiotics. They admitted me at 2:00 a.m. and told me to wait.
I waited 11 hours before seeing a doctor.
The doctor made the situation worse due to his lack of qualifications.
The swelling on my face kept getting worse, but the staff just told me to wait.
At 9 a.m., they told me they didn’t have a dentist on duty at the moment and didn’t know when one would be available.
I had an urgent, critical emergency.
They could have just told me right away that there was no doctor.
I would have gone to another hospital.
I was miraculously saved at the next hospital.
This is just a nightmare, not a clinic.
I lost a tooth.
When I arrived, the tumor was just starting to grow, and I kept explaining every hour that it was an emergency.
They could have told me at night that there was no doctor available.
Nobody cared.
I’m really surprised by this situation.
I’m facing some pretty serious problems right now.
But I’m under the care of specialists.

Hôpital top, je suis hospitalisé depuis jeudi 19 mars pour une infection de la hanche, opération faite en urgence pour drainage de l'infection.. les médicaments de la douleurs adaptées à mon cas..
Plusieurs spécialistes vient me visiter chaque jours pour me rassurer..
Merci à tous les médecins : rhumatologue, infectiologue..

would give 0 stars if I could. I remember when I fainted and was taken to the hospital. They gave me IV fluid, and didn’t take it out after it was drained. My blood was leaking into the tube for a good 15 minutes filling up the bag. And I told the lady at the front desk someone needs to take it out now. She said just wait. And no one came. How are you gonna leave someone who fainted to lose blood. Crazy. Nurses were rude too.

Last night was the first time visiting the Emergency Dept. I had slipped and fallen on ice and needed X-rays. From triage, registration, X-ray and consult with the doctor - in and out within 4 hours. Everyone that I encountered were very friendly, sympathetic and professional. I felt that I was taken care of in a caring, organized environment which helped to reduce my level of anxiety. Thanks to all of you, you really make a difference!

Très belle hôpital sauf pas de poste de taxi 🚕 aucun un gardien signal un bouton et le taxi arrive 30 minutes plus tard oufff donc aucune place pour une personne à mobilité réduite les taxi sont sur une autre rue lol ils sont interdits sur le site de stationnement 🅿️ lol aucun taxi Nada 👎 tout les autres hôpitaux à Mtl c’est pas le cas ; déplorable et aucun respect pour les handicapés ils doivent se déplacer vers le taxi ça pas de bon sang !!!

J ai demandé un papier de présence la secrétaire du non invasive pacemaker E5 200, elle a pris des airs de supérieure et m a dit ça va prendre 10 min...au bout de 20 min je me suis représenter devant elle et à pris un autre 20 min à écrire...'Ce billet confirme que ....était présenté à un rendez vous à cette date'... ensuite elle m a dit...je dois aller le faire approuvé !!!
Vraiment...j ai jamais vu une secrétaire aussi déplaisante.
Est ce que l’hôpital est en ruine ? Tout est brisé sale dégoûtant vieux . Tu rentres pour un problème tu sors avec 10 autres maladies à cause de l’entretien de locaux inexistant. Pour Montréal ça craint d’avoir un hôpital si crade et usé. Je compatis avec le personnel car y a de quoi faire une dépression dans cet environnement

Hôpital très sale et désuet.
Abreuvoir avec du vert et ou qui ne fonctionne pas.
Toilette de l’urgence qui sent l’urine.
Ascenseur qui ne marche pas.
Peinture défraîchie qui est sale ou écaillée.
Beaucoup de chose, murs brisés…
Ils pourraient mettre un peu d’amour dans cet hôpital…
