Fabulous from Smell to Service
Wouldn't buy from anywhere else. So glad I found them. Ordered Saturday morning delivered Saturday afternoon. So lucky to have them so local to me. Can't recommend enough Smell lasts even after blown out.

better customer service and maybe allow ALL reviews on the website as only allowing positive ones misleads the customer. Also not having a highly toxic product that melts your car interior would be nice.

Oh and had you done a FULL investigation, which you have not. You would have found the there is no seal or washer to prevent leakage. Said FULL investigation would also have found that tipping the unit to soak the cork would also soak the thread which passes through two holes either side of the cap. Which also have nothing to prevent the toxic liquid from exiting the cap. I hope you can take some learnings from my own little two minute investigation and make some improvements to your product. And going forward maybe you can learn from this experience to not dismiss your customers so flippantly and then maybe said customers will become return and repeat not to mention recommend type customers.

Bought the car diffuser from here, at first I was pleased with the look and the scent. I then noticed a drip on my car interior. To my shock it has literally melted the plastic and left two unsightly marks. Upon bringing this to the attention of the company I was told I should have read the label. The label does state that the product is harmful to the environment, but nowhere does it state it is highly toxic and will melt your car. Only when I posted a review on their website, which was not published, did I get a form of apology. No offer of a refund or help towards paying for a repair. Shame to post this but customer service is important. Treat your customers with contempt and it comes back. I still have another bottle of scent. I may use it to clean my oven or unblock some drains.

Once again thank you for bringing this to our attention. As we have already spoken about the issues you have faced and explained that it is user error and the cork was saturated, resulting in drips, there is not a lot we can do, unfortunately. The product is not faulty and the liquid meets the required standards and is labelled correctly.
We did not tell you that you “should have read the label”. You stated in your original communication that you were not made aware of the toxicity of the product and had you been aware you would not have purchased it. We pointed out that, inline with UK legislation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging, all information that is legally required to be on the packaging was available to be read at the time of purchase. But you found this condescending.
You also state that “only when I posted a review on their website, which was not published, did I get a form of apology.” We thanked you for bringing this to our attention and apologies in the first message you sent to us, we also apologise in the second message too. Reviews written on our website are not automatically published as it goes through a verification process first to make sure that the source and content is authentic. As you did not place the order on our website, gave us 5 stars and used language that did not reflect a 5 star review, our system has flagged this as spam and has therefore blocked the review.
As we have said already, we can completely empathise with you and understand your frustration over what has happened.

Excellent product
Excellent product. Lovely, subtle scent that is there but not overpowering. Also pleased that it is vegan and cruelty free. The proprietor of Flame and Scent was also super helpful in tracking down which Scent diffuser I had purchased as I couldn't remember. I will certainly be purchasing more in the future.
