My Wife and I wanted guidance with our pension plans to ensure that we were going to do the right thing and maximise the benefits given our age, our needs in retirement and security of income long term. Ross provided extremely sound advice, which guided us along a path which we were sure would give us what we needed to see our retirement expectations develop to the best of our advantage. We have now put our plan in motion and all is looking extremely well for the future. The advice and support provided was 1st class. Turning 50, I wondered if there was enough in the pot to take some form of early retirement. Ross gave us the confidence to make that decision so that we can live our lives the way we want to. I had expected a financial planner to show us spreadsheets and charts, using lots of financial jargon. But Ross took the time to properly engage with us, understanding what we were looking for and what was important to us. After all, it’s things like that are the reason I retired in the first place. I booked my place on the course that same day and cannot wait.

My father recently passed away. As he took care of the financial side of things I thought it best to seek professional advice regarding my mother's affairs. I heard about Ross through a friend. Ross has helped us to understand my mum's current financial position and is supporting her with future financial planning now she is retired. He has given her an honest view of where she is financially and what she is able to spend going forward. As part of this he has made investment recommendations in terms of her inherited pension scheme and the investing of other cash she holds in ISAs and Unit Trusts. Being a pensioner, he has worked with her to identify the right level of investment risk to take, as well as making recommendations on how she can use her money in the right way to reduce tax implications. Ross kept us engaged every step of the way and with every decision, visiting us regularly at home to run through everything, always making sure mum's goals were kept on track. He has been a pleasure to deal with.
