Amazing décor and great music. A little pricey for drinks but can understand with the experience and where in the city it is! Would definitely recommend and return

Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable about the range of different drinks they have, found a couple of new favourite rums there! Very chilled out atmosphere and very accepting of out of towners. Had a great time there.

7 of us (Between the ages of 56 and 65) visited early Sat evening and 2 went upstairs to see if there were any seats spare. I remained at the bottom of the stairs, where I first encountered a member of the door staff who promptly told me we could not stand and disappeared upstairs to find the other 2. I had a brief chat with a few people and was kindly offered 7 seats (3 together and another 4). When the doorman came down with my 2 friends we were all told to leave as there were no seats. I tried to explain that we had found some, but was told again to leave. We did, no issue.
BUT, as my friends entered the pub directly opposite, Pivni, they were 'greeted' by their doorman and told that they couldn't come in as he had received a warning about us from the Valhalla doorman, who was now standing outside the Valhalla watching us!
Having done nothing at all to warrant this treatment, I find the behaviour of these 'security' staff to be totally unprofessional and needless.

Appreciate the review! Our security try their best to get everyone in the building where they can which is between them and communication with staff. When it comes to other doormen across the road, we are two separate venues unfortunately and that would've been their decision rather than ours. I'll apologise for unable to get into our building on the Saturday but I can't speak for any other security unfortunately. I will say our security do work 13/14 hours a day in a heavily busy environment and they do try their best where they can.

I think this is my new favourite place. Enjoyed every last mouthful immensely ❤️ and the staff were great
Update: revisited and the staff were still great 👍🏼 looking forward to returning again to eat as the food was looking enticing
