Got there for my son's eye checkup.It was my first visit and everything was well taken care of.From the eye testing to the doctor's checkup everything was done with utmost care. The level of hygiene was also top notch. The management is great with the best team of doctors and technicians.
Very disappointing they cancel appointments in the last minute without prior notice even if you book appointments 1 month before they cancel it which cause severe difficulties for patient's health
My mother has a long history of glaucoma and has been under the care of Dr. Mehnaz Shah at The Eye Center, Karachi. We booked her appointment a month in advance, only to be informed shortly before the appointment that the doctor would not be available and that we should consult another doctor instead.
For glaucoma patients, continuity of care is extremely important. A last-minute cancellation after confirming an appointment demonstrates a lack of respect for patients' time and medical needs. If patients are expected to see another doctor, they should be informed well in advance so they can make appropriate decisions rather than relying on an appointment that is ultimately not honored.
While unforeseen circumstances can happen, better scheduling, communication, and accountability are essential—especially when patients are dealing with serious eye conditions. This experience was deeply disappointing and has significantly reduced our confidence in the level of patient care provided.
I have been a glaucoma patient at this clinic for years because I trusted Dr. Mehnaz and her care. Sadly, my recent experiences have been very disappointing.
My appointment with Dr. Mehnaz was booked a month in advance for 19th July. Since I travel from Lahore, I called the clinic multiple times before booking my ticket to confirm that Dr. Mehnaz would be available. Each time, I was reassured.
Today, after my ticket had already been booked and my travel arrangements were finalized, I received a call informing me that Dr. Mehnaz would not be available and that I would have to see Dr. Uzma instead.
This is not the first time this has happened. On my previous visit, I was asked to see Dr. Ayesha instead of Dr. Mehnaz, and I was extremely disappointed with that experience.
Right now, my eye condition has become much worse, I am in severe pain, and as a glaucoma patient, continuity of care is extremely important. If I wanted to see a different doctor, I could have done that in Lahore. The reason I travel all the way to Karachi is specifically to consult Dr. Mehnaz.
Based on my recent experiences, I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone. Long-term patients deserve honesty, proper communication, and respect for their time, health, and travel. Last-minute changes like these are unacceptable, especially for patients coming from other cities with serious eye conditions.

I had 2 successful cataract surgeries at The Eye Center, Dr. Mahnaz Naveed Shah & Associates, and I’m extremely satisfied with my experience.
From reception to post-op care, every staff member was courteous and professional. Special thanks to my ophthalmologist, Dr. Hina Nawaz, who was very helpful, cooperative, and outstanding in her work. Her guidance and professionalism made the whole process smooth and reassuring.
I highly recommend The Eye Center to anyone needing eye care.

Would not recommend here any glaucoma patient. Especially if its kid. Worst
Experience and didnt even return 6000 , charged without any consultation and dignoais, i intent to leave it as my daughter’s sadqa. I will indeed complain to dr. Mehnaz and dr shahzad.
