Wirklich eine unglaubliche Erfahrung! Alles ist super organisiert, die Guides sind sehr aufmerksam und haben immer einen guten Überblick. Man wird die komplette Zeit richtig gut versorgt, mit allem was man so braucht. Die Verpflegung war immer sehr lecker und vor allem genug, die Unterkünfte sauber und gemütlich und die Wanderung war, auch wenn wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter hatten, wirklich schön und eindrucksvoll. Obwohl wir eine Gruppe von 13 Personen waren, sind die Guides auch immer auf die Bedürfnisse jeder einzelnen Person eingegangen. Wenn man mitbekommt, was alles so dahinter steckt, ist der Preis mehr als angemessen.

Realicé este maravilloso tour entre los días 3 y 6 de enero (4 días) de 2025 y no puedo sino tener palabras de agradecimiento. Nuestro equipo estuvo liderado por el guía Camacho con Eberth como traductor, Wilfredy como cocinero y Yiyo como apoyo. Todos magníficos. Nos transmitieron siempre mucha cercanía y seguridad pese a las dificultades que afrontamos. Fueron días de abundantes lluvias pero disfrutamos mucho de la experiencia. Ha sido algo único y ojalá repetir con ellos en futuros tours

The Lost City Trek was the highlight of my trip to Colombia. I had such an amazing time that I extended my trek from 4 days to 5. Our guides, Dennis and Osneider, let everyone go at their own pace and made sure we were all together at the rest stops. Every day Dennis would tell us about the history and the people of the areas we were walking through, and Sebastian would translate to English. Dennis made sure we got an early start each morning so that we were one of the first groups up to the Lost City. ¡Vamos los patos! 🦆 The food was some of the best I had in Colombia. Our cook, Albeiro, made us an amazingly fresh breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. He kept our bodies well fueled for the day ahead of us. The fresh fruit at rest stops between meals was an added bonus. Protip: bring some extra toilet paper, since it's sometimes hard to find in the camps. And be prepared for rain, just in case.

I did not have particular expectations in the tour to the Ciudad Perdida, except for seeing this environment directly live - The real Tour exceeded this in all possible ways! The 4 day hike does require some fitness, but all the organisation & arrangement details had been perfectly prepared by our tourguides Camacho, Heberth, Piqué and Yiyo, who did extremely professional hard work - and had the group of the "papayas" running !!! Every possible detail was considered and managed at highest professional level! - i can only recommend this as the best option to visit the lost city! Muchas gracias to this Team & expotour !

Camacho, Herberth, pique and Yiyo were amazing and were vital parts of the “Papaya” group as we battled very wet and stormy conditions during the majority of our trek. They were always there with a smile on their face (laughing at us or with us) and always holding out a hand to scoop us off the muddy floor!! We had the most incredible time, despite the challenging conditions and they were great at keeping our energy up and making sure we were well fed. Camacho was incredibly knowledgeable and very professional throughout the 4 days and cannot be faulted. Herberth did an excellent job at translating Camacho’s knowledge and was very friendly and approachable. Yiyo was incredibly helpful at guiding us through somewhat challenging terrain and Pique was amazing at making sure we never went hungry with a plentiful supply of delicious food, snacks and hot drinks. An incredible experience which was extremely well organised and worth every penny!

Incredible experience that I will never forget. We had a fantastic group experience with "Los Patos en El Agua" thanks to the great work of our guide Dennis, who gave us insights about the history of the Sierra Nevada alone the way. Albeiro cooked great food! And we were well surrounded with Osneyjder and Sebastian who were always positive despite the difficult hiking conditions (rain during a large part of the trek). El tour que hice fue a ciudad perdida por 4 días, Nelson fue el Guia, Esleider era Asistente de Guia, Andres fue Traductor, y Pastora y Emiro fueron los Chefs. La comida muy buena, me gusto mucho el tour muchas gracias por todo, en especial a Nelson por estar tan pendiente con nosotros. Muy recomendado. No tuvimos ningun problema gastrointestinal pero también estuvimos muy pendientes del agua, preferimos comprar agua embotellada para evitar problemas. En caso de falta de entrenamiento se puede utilizar como transporte mulas y moto la mayor parte del camino con un costo adicional.

Inolvidable experiencia. 4 días en contacto con naturaleza pura, recorriendo caminos en territorios indígenas llenos de exuberante fauna, flora y paisajes con olor a verde. Subidas y bajadas exigentes, caminos empedrados, barro, lluvia, humedad, rios y aire puro. Agradable experiencia a solo 170 kms de la urbe donde residimos. Hicimos tour mi hijo(34) y yo (65) desde Barranquilla hasta la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta para cumplir con este propósito pendiente desde hace años, de conocer este maravilloso sitio asiento de antepasados y que finalmente logramos conocer: Ciudad Perdida. Todo esto con la asistencia de Expotour y su guía Elizabeth Saavedra, quien nos acompañó de principio a fin con todo el entusiasmo, el profesionalismo y su don de gente. Gracias a su paciencia, experiencia y conociniento pudimos coronar esta aventura. Fueron 4 días, donde en medio de la humedad sofocante, sudor y risas, nos supo transmitir historias y leyendas de los antepasados ancestrales de las etnias que habitan la zona. También gracias a su motivación y empeñó se nos hizo menos difícil ascender hasta el mítico lugar meta de la caminata (hice más de la mitad del recorrido con una tendinitis en una de mis rodillas). Fueron 4 dias en que con cuerpo, mente y alma nos integramos con la madre Tierra y disfruté la compañía de mi hijo Carlos Mario y donde afianzamos nuestra relación padre - hijo. Reconocimiento y agradecimiento a Expotour y todo su personal de apoyo, desde sus oficinas hasta los de campo, en campamentos, sitios de alimentación, cocineros y la guía Elizabeth. Ya estamos preparando regreso para fin de año.

La experiencia con la agencia Expotour fue muy agradable, el compromiso de todo el equipo por que estuvieramos bien y porque disfrutaramos de cada día fue invaluable, nuestra guía Adriana fue muy amable en su trato y paciente en cada uno de los recorridos, además de demostrar un gran conocimiento y dominio de la historia, cultura y el lugar que conocimos, nuestro traductor Isidro y la persona que nos apoyo Edwuar fueron muy agradables y respetuosos en su trato con el grupo, prestandonos apoyo, guía y compañía en cada paso, haciendo del recorrido una experiencia muy agradable. En cuanto a la comida a cargo de Ismael no podría estar más satisfecha, una muy buena sazón y sobre todo agradezco el respeto que tuvieron con mi tema de alergias, dándome una segunda opción, fue un muy lindo detalle. Esta experiencia a ciudad perdída fue un gran reto tanto física como mentalmente pero contar con un grupo como el que tuvimos (adriana, Isidro, Ismael y Edwuar) hicieron que fuera mucho más llevaderay que los recuerdos sean inolvidables.
