Amazing trip with kids
We had a fantastic day on the bullet. The crew (Skipper Neil, Luke and Jordie) we’re amazing and made us all feel so welcome. They were super accommodating with the kids and made their time onboard special. We had plenty of time at each stop and no one felt rushed. The food was delicious and we were never hungry. One tip is to bring a warm jacket, it can get cold when the winds are up. We highly recommend this trip.
Absolute must do trip !!
We did the Whitsunday bullet with skipper Neil and crew Luke and Jordie. What a fantastic day , started on time with collection from our apartment, smooth check in and on board full safety briefing from Luke. Then high speed out to the Whitehaven lookout point which was just stunning. Luke and Jordie were giving us snippets of info about the area as we walked to the lookout . After, we had lunch on board which was delicious, Then to the beach for paddle boarding and some relaxing time in the crystal clear waters at Whitehaven. Back onboard and skipper Neil decided conditions were good to go to Mantaray bay for some snorkelling . It was beyond amazing, we saw so many fish I didn’t want it to end . We got some fantastic videos and memories that will las a lifetime, I would recommend this trip to anyone . There were all ages on our boat and everyone said it was a brilliant day. Thanks Neil, Luke and Jordie . Hope to be back again .
Outstanding
We had the best time on the Whitsunday Bullet. The views of the shifting sands from Inlet Hill we're spectacular and Whitehaven Beach is a must see when you visit Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays. Jordie, Reece and Dan made the trip fun and memorable. A massive thanks to them!
A relaxte day snorkeling!
A very nice and relaxing day at the Bullet.A short walk to the lookout with heaps of time to take a picture.Relax time on Whiteheaven Beach with sub's and a drink.Good snorkeling (bit sad the coral is so damaged) with a few nice fish. Frendly crew!Even spotted some whales on the way home!
Well worth your money for a great tour with great guides!
My wife and went on the Whitsundays Bullet Day Trip two weeks ago on our honeymoon and it was all around fantastic. Overall, it's a very well-curated tour and I thought the itinerary was spot on for what we wanted to experience. I loved the bushwalk to the Hill Inlet look out to start things off. It was a great walk and a good way to get a lay of the land and see where we were going next. The views out across the blue water to Whitehaven beach were spectacular and many photos were taken. We then boarded the boat and headed over to the famous beach that we'd just viewed.A large section of the tour is free time at the beautiful Whitehaven Beach. This was honestly great, as it meant we could just relax and enjoy the beach at our own pace and in our own way. The guides provide paddleboards, ball games and other fun stuffs for us to use. At the recomendation of our guides, we used the incredibly fine sand of the beach to polish our rings and exfolliate our faces. The results were instant. My wife's engagement ring never looked so shiny and my face felt smooth as a baby's bum. I also managed to remove an odd line of black smudges on my own wedding ring by using the sand. I can definitely understand why it's a $10,000 fine to try and take some of this sand home with you. I'd be moving bags of the stuff if I could. The last stop of the trip was the snorkle. It was my first time snorkeling, but after an easy to follow brief I felt pretty confident to get out there and do my own thing. Pool noodles were also provided to help you float above the reef and that made things much easier too. Again, you were free to snorkel at your own pace and if you wanted to head back to the boat early the guides happily boated you back. It was a little cold in the water, even with the stinger suits they gave us so I could understand some people calling it early. I had a great time exploring the reef area they chose on the day and would be keen to do it again. On the trip home we were lucky enough to encounter some magestic whales who just so happened to cross our path. We watched in awe as 2 whales popped in and out of the water, only about 20 metres in front of the boat. This was an extra special and unplanned part of the trip. Isaac, one of the guides said it was the closest he'd ever gotten to whales on the trip. Captain Neil also added that by law the boat cannot chase whales so we were very lucky indeed to have encountered them so close. I appreciated that the crew stopped the boat for us to watch. All in all the itinerary and experience of the Whitsundays is great aboard the Bullet. I also wanted to make a special mention to the crew that took us out there. Captain Neil and his crew of Isaac and Reece. These blokes were as cool as cucumbers the whole time, they kept us relaxed and laughing the whole time and were always very informative at each stop. I really appreciated Reece's spiel at the hill inlet. It was super interesting and funny. Immediately after he finished, another guide walked up with their group and did his own spiel. Still being in earshot I got to hear it too. I was honestly expecting to hear much of the same information rehashed but I found it completely bland and lacking by comparison. It made me appreciate the team that we were with. I would also like to compliment the food aboard the Bullet. The buffet lunch was delicious and in ample supply. Along with morning and afternoon tea we were pretty much never left hungry. My wife has quite a big appetite and so I was a little concerned that she would be a bit hangry on the way home after a full day of travel. For that very reason, I packed a panini in my bag to ensure she had something to eat in an emergency. I was pleasantly surprised when she didn't want a bar of said panini. The crew clearly had kept us well fed. I also appreciated that the drinks aboard were very reasonably priced. $6 for a beer and $2 for a bottle of water. Coming from the monied wasteland of Sydney I was expecting to see them exploit their captive market with inflated drink prices. I mean the tour is already underpriced as it is. Only $130 for the trip, it's a real bargain. Who would blame them for trying to claw back some margain through beverages. These guys are true blue. Also, the fact that you can just add drinks to your tab throughout the whole trip and settle things at the end was very convenient. Thanks Bullet
Great day with the crew on the Whitsunday Bullet!
Fantastic day exploring on the Whitsunday Bullet! Staff were friendly, informative and helpful, food was top notch, and Whitehaven Beach speaks for itself. The snorkel spot was rather disappointing but I’ve a feeling that would be the case for majority of the reef these days. Will be attending the Great Barrier Reef festival to find out what we can do to save this beauty!
Absolutely amazing family friendly Whitehaven tour
Absolutely amazing day. The crew Neil, Luke and danika were fantastic, And so great with my kids. Even watched my little one who was too scared to snorkel, so I could still jump in and snorkel. So much fun paddle boarding, swimming and making sandcastles on the beautiful white sand. Lunch was fantastic. The walk to hill inlet was spectacular and then we walked down to the beach and walked through the clear water with so many beautiful rays. Such an amazing experience. Then to top it off we saw the whales. I can not rate them high enough for this. Helping families have an amazing day out. I recommend the whitsunday bullet to any family wanting to do a trip out to see Whitehaven and snorkel. Thanks Luke for your humour and danika for your help with my kids. Such a great team. Cheers for an absolutely ripper of a day. Aussie adventures unlimited
Whitsunday Bullet
Our favourite part of the trip was the first stop and the walk up to Hill-Inlet lookout, the views are spectacular. This day cruise stops at three different locations and it’s best to hold on to your allocated stinger suit until the last stop if you want to snorkel. Also take a good wind break jacket for the ride out there. Overall the crew worked very hard to keep everyone safe, well informed and well fed. A great experience.
A Great Day - Even in poor weather!
Had a fabulous day, even with the rain and being a tad cool! The crew and office team were just a delight! Lunch and snacks were very tasty and satisfying. Hiking to look outs at two locations were worth it. The sand on Whitehaven has to be experienced! So soft, never felt sand like it!! The sun did come out for our time while we were overlooking Whitehaven from Hill Inlet lookout Would recommend this trip!
Overall a great day!
All in all I thought it was a wonderful day. The crew, Luke, Rhys and Rhys were super attentive, chatty and fun and ensured we all had a fun filled day. Lunch was great, along with every single activity we did however saying “morning tea” and “afternoon tea” was a bit exaggerated as it really was a small slice of brownie (which was lovely none the less) and a mouthful of fruit. Overall I would seriously recommend this to anyone with kids or couples as it’s a fun day out for everyone and the crew couldn’t have been more helpful!
Great trip, great crew.
We had a fantastic day out. The crew were great guys, and you could tell that they really loved what they did. They were fully involved with entertaining the young kids on the beach, and were full of energy all day. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Highly recommend.
The Whitsunday trip to take!
A wonderful experience! Our family truly enjoyed our full day out on the Whitsunday Bullet. I was a bit apprehensive when we hit open seas, sitting up the front with the children, but they loved it! A bit of a splash here and there, and they thought they were on a ride, loved hearing them laugh. This part was only for a while, then back to the calmer water. The crew were very helpful and provided good communication throughout, checking to ensure all guests were happy. Thank you Reece, Zig and John. Amazing views were a highlight from Hill Inlet! So glad to have seen this. Many tours don't offer this, what a blessing to have been able to see this! A delicious buffet lunch onboard was very nice. Then free time to swim or relax ashore and paddle board and snorkel before heading home. Glad we brought some blankets, as it was windy on the return trip and quite cold. The provided jackets were appreciated too. What a beautiful part of Australia! Thanks again for a great, memorable day!
The Bullet Whitehaven beach
We had a great day. Jack was a real entertainer. A lovely guy who was funny, friendly and warm. The rest of the crew were great too and they complimented each other as a team. The food was delicious and Whitehaven beach and the boat ride over and back were really enjoyable. A fabulous day to always remember.
