Geirolf was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and the animals he showed us on our tour. No shortage of sightings. The whole tour was great for all of our family members 9 of us. From pick up to drop off the experience was awesome. The Costa Rican lunch just topped off our morning. Thank you for all your efforts on our behalf.

Geirold was a fantastic and knowledgeable host. His passion for Costa Rica and the wildlife was evident. He picked us up right on time and before you know it we were surrounded by monkeys. On the way back to Jacó we visited the crocodiles and got to see “Mike Tyson”, one of the largest crocs I’ve ever seen. Back in Jaco we went deep into the woods and spotted two sloths to cap off a great morning. I highly recommend Geirold for this tour!!

Our recent Airbnb experience in Jacó was an absolute highlight, largely thanks to an incredible wildlife tour that truly exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to see some of Costa Rica's famous animals, and this tour delivered! We spotted monkeys playing, vibrant macaws soaring, and even stealthy crocodiles. The true stars were the adorable sloths, which we were lucky enough to observe up close. What truly made this experience special was our guide. Unfortunately this tour did not meet expectations. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We were taken to see monkeys - we walked across someone’s backyard and stood still while the monkey’s ran around. We did not walk on a trail, simply stood still in someone’s yard. Next up the crocodiles - they took us to a public bridge “crocodile bridge” where we got out and saw a few crocodiles. Our meal, while tasty, was at a place that had a bathroom, but the sink was not working, so they poured some water from water bottles over our hands and gave us a paper towels upon request. Next up was the sloths - we only was the fur of a couple of sleeping sloths- never saw the face or them hanging. The beach - well that consisted of a couple of folding chairs and wading in the water. Overall, our guide seemed very knowledgeable, but unfortunately this tour was not worth the money.

A perfect outing, the highlight of our stay so far! Our guide Geirold was friendly, communicative, ecologically and safety conscious, and above all knowledgeable. It was fantastic to see the monkeys, crocodiles, and two sloths! People were kind at the places we visited. We were in a small group of 6 so we could hear the guide and were comfortable in the van. The guide accommodated our preferences. We enjoyed excellent traditional food served on a palm leaf, and had a relaxing time at the beautiful beach. Definitely recommend this experience!

We were really looking forward to this experience due to the great reviews, however it was a bit of a let down. The monkey segment of the tour was great and lunch was nice. However the tour was split into two and the main tour guide rode with a different group and popped in from time to time so we missed out on really learning from him about the different places and animals we saw. I had to google the Tarcoles river as our driver just pointed to the crocs when we got there and that was it. When we got to the beach, the main group was already set up on beach chairs and we kinda just wandered around for a while. I think if they are going to use two buses they both need to arrive at the destinations at the same time to have the same experience with the tour guide. Essentially felt like we were just being driven from place to place and not the tour experience described in other reviews.

The entire tour was well worth the price for my daughter and I. The amount we got to do in just about four and a half hours made my moneys worth as well as the time we had with the monkeys!! We believe the tour wouldn’t have been as good as it was without Geirold. He did an amazing job explaining everything to us as well as ensuring our safety when it came to visiting the monkeys. On top of this he was very engaged and enthusiastic throughout the tour and really just did an amazing job making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. I’d definitely recommend this tour and our tour guide Geirold, my daughter and I have no complaints!

Les explications et informations données tout au long du parcours, la gentillesse, politesse et professionnalisme de nos guides et chauffeur, leur approche éthique de la nature et des animaux sauvages, le soin qu’ils ont eut envers nous pour assurer notre confort , tout y était pour que ce soit une réussite. Nous avons adoré avoir l’opportunité de goûter aux saveurs locales lors du repas de midi. L’un de mes fils a souligné comment les gens ici sont généreux et mettent du coeur dans leur approche. Bref! La experiencia fue buena, el anfitrión sabe mucho y fue muy interesante todo lo que dijo. En nuestro caso solo pudimos ver el perezoso de lejos porque al parecer no es siempre posible verlos de cerca (el anfitrión nos advirtió de esto). Los monos increíbles y el cocodrilo también.

we meet at 8:00 at KFC in Jaco.. left for a visit with white faced monkeys.. drive was a little long but it was worth the wait to see these little guys.. cute and playful.. very easy to be around .. stopped at the bridge for a refresher drink and some food and then got to see Mike Tyson the largest croc I have ever seen. After this we were off to the beach to look for sloths.. found one in the tree .. sat on the beach for a while with a quick snack to end a nice morning.. good value to see wildlife and learn about them from a knowledgeable Costa Rican!! Recommend the adventure!!
