I am very disappointed with how the interview was handled at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá.
I sent a formal invitation letter along with supporting documentation to help with the application. However, during the interview, only two basic questions were asked: “What are you going to do in the United States?” and “Where are you going?”, and they did not even allow the applicant to present the documents I had sent.
I believe it is disrespectful that the effort and documentation sent from the United States were not taken into consideration. I expected a more thorough and fair process, where at least the documents would be reviewed before making a decision.
me siento muy decepcionado con la manera en que se manejó la entrevista en la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Bogotá.
Envié una carta de invitación formal junto con documentación de respaldo para apoyar la solicitud. Sin embargo, durante la entrevista solo hicieron dos preguntas básicas: “¿Qué va a hacer en Estados Unidos?” y “¿A dónde va?”, y ni siquiera permitieron que se mostraran los documentos que envié.
Considero que es una falta de respeto que no se haya tomado en cuenta el esfuerzo y la documentación enviada desde Estados Unidos. Esperaba un proceso más completo y justo, donde al menos se revisaran los documentos antes de tomar una decisión.
Eficaz y clara en la atecion antes de la entrevista. Las filas, aunque nutridas, avanzan con pausada continuidad.Recuerfen: tres filas: 1. Ingreso a la embajafa y paso por escaner igual que en aeropuerto; la segunda, cotejacion de huellas y finalmente, la fe entrevistas.
WORST PLACE EVER!!! If you going to DENY someones TOURIST VISA without a reason, then DON'T make them waste the TIME and MONEY. do you have ANY IDEA how hard it is to come up with all the money, for you to just say DENIED! ALL of you are heartless, have a little SYMPATHY!
Estuve en la entrevista para la visa, y no entiendo con que criterio niegan o aprueban, conozco muchas personas que se van y se quedan por allá, nosotros pensábamos ir de turismo y la negaron sin explicación
Para atender a tantas personas que llegan a diario, se organizan muy bien, las filas son largas, pero avanzan rápido, toca llegar con 30 minutos o más de anticipación a la hora de la cita, lleven zapatos cómodos, no lleven botellas de agua, ni botilitos, los están quitando y estén preparados para que les aprueben o no les aprueben la Visa.
As an American citizen, sad to have to wait in a 4 degree weather with a newborn due to operational inefficiencies despite having an appointment at the correct time. Difficult to need support and not have English speaking staff for US Citizens - having to be told in another language by Camila Carrillo, security guard, that we need to wait an hour outside the bars without a clear explanation, feels like I’m not welcomed in my own country.
Hoy fuimos a la entrevista para sacar visa de turismo, la mayoria de personal era amable, pero el que nos atendio para entrevistarnos era irrespetuoso, no nos miro en ningun momento de la entrevista, no nos respondio el saludo y con solo 3 preguntas nos denego la visa cuando no habia porque denegarla porque las respuestas eran coherentes, teniamos buen presupuesto, ademas la explicacion de porque nos nego la visa no tenia logic aen respecto a nuestras respuestas de las preguntas
Para que te aprueben la visa toca tener suerte para que te toque un buen oficial
