Wish I had seen these reviews before proceeding with this law firm. Many of the concerns and disappointments mentioned here reflect my own experience. At first, things seemed to be going well — communication was prompt, and the team appeared helpful and professional. However, as time went on, nothing was truly resolved between my ex and me. About three weeks ago, I agreed to move forward with mediation and have not heard anything since. I’ve sent several follow-up emails, including one officially ending my engagement with the firm and stating that I would be moving forward with a new lawyer. I was referred to this firm by multiple people and truly expected better. Unfortunately, my overall experience has been disappointing and unproductive.

Thank you All sooo much, This separation was the hardest period in my life, however everything Beau and his staff told me for the duration was 100% accurate and not once was I misled or given a.false hope. The flat rate packages were easy to navigate and definitely helped given the situation I was in. MUCH respect to you Beau and all the friendly professional staff at Evolve . I'll never hesitate to refer Evolve. A BIG win for the kids.

Beau and Melissa were great through the entire divorce and following custody battle. Beau would always call me and assure me everything was ok whenever I emailed him worried about something that had developed in my situation. I loved that everything was a fixed rate no matter how long they spent on it. And when it finally when my situation came down to a 5 day trial, I decided that I unfortunately couldn’t afford to have them represent me, and instead they helped me self represent! I instead paid to have a half day ‘mock trial’. I had all my witnesses come in with me. We got to ask all the questions about how everything worked and made me feel very confident in the process. In addition to this Beau provided me with what was basically an AI coaching service. He gave me a document outlining everything to expect and how to use AI to help me prepare for trial. I highly recommend if you can not afford a lawyer to represent you in trial to contact Beau and ask about his AI coaching and trial preparation service! My results were favourable for me!

I am extremely pleased with Evolve Family Law. I need to contact a Law firm recently and after sifting through a few pages on Google search I came across Evolve Family Law. The website is straightforward and professional. I felt that their firm was homegrown and rooted with family integrity, virtue and values. I contacted them late on a Tuesday, on Wednesday they responded and I filled out some forms. Then on Thursday I was speaking with a Lawyer named Beau Atkins. He was wonderful. He did not interject or interrupt me when I spoke. He listened intently, he didn't try to rush me. Over the phone I could feel his compassion and empathy for the situation that I was going through. What started as a dark grey and gloomy day with a ton of weight on my shoulders and mind, turned into a euphoric sense of relief and happiness. Without a doubt I can't recommend a better team. I highly recommend anyone and everyone that needs a family law firm to contact them. I truly believe they want your business to help you and not your business for the paycheck. This is for the team, thank you for starting your practice based on morals, integrity and values. Being accessible from all corners of Canada is exceptional. The team you put together is wonderful and the ones added in the future I bet will be as well. Speaking with your administrative assistant was also pleasant and a pleasure when I needed to inquire about something and it was close to the end of your office hours. She spoke with a very kind tone and was very professional.

Terrible communication. No correspondence sent to me between counsel. I never got a detailed invoice. 0 compassion felt towards my matter and 0 understanding of how I wanted to go forward. Ridiculous allegations filed in a counter petition from my ex and the response I got was “he went a little bit farther than I expected, but it won’t be looked at” my ex is trying to take my daughter away from me based on lies, and I felt like the petition was done so Vincent was done with me. I was told 2 lawyers would be working on my file and that was absolutely false. This law firm is the epitome of a transactional relationship. Take your money and wipe your hands clean of you. I am sincerely disappointed and extremely discouraged. I do not recommend this law firm. Came highly recommended and I was shown that was not the case.

Evolve came highly recommended to me as a top law firm in Saskatoon. The petition took them months to put together. I never met the actual lawyers representing me and instead their assistant with no law degree did my entire petition with me. I was also not informed there is no “full custody” anymore in Saskatchewan until after I paid $3500. Matthew made no effort to hear my story of being abused and abandoned the last 3 years and instead took my child’s father’s side in every situation when they were supposed to be representing me. When I terminated service they had to pass documents to me from the opposing lawyer and a comment was made to me that if I go to court with my child’s father they expect him to get everything he is asking for. A total unnecessary comment. If you are a woman please do not choose this law firm.

do not use this law firm if you are a male that does not want to pay spousal support!! I was referred here by a law clerk at the courthouse when I had to fire my previous lawyer because she was not fighting very hard for me, so I was representing myself .I paid for a phone consult and then another fee to have them review my file. I then had to contact them after two weeks after ? why so long? then they told me that I was expected to pay a huge amount of sport based on this stupid formula. Its like they never even looked at my file to see my circumstances to see what it is that I wanting or needing ? I was a victim of spousal abuse and my ex was not educated and just plain lazy. I was not willing to pay them the ridiculous structure fee of $3500 plus taxes. It would be total suicide to do this ? they would not listen to me of what I wanted or was willing to pay so I just fired them. For you not not listening to me and thinking of what works best for you so you do not have to do any of the workload I give you a bad review. Your are better off to represent yourself and not waste your money on lawyers. This has nothing todo with about a good or proper fit. In the intake phone call Beau was listening to my wants and needs and I asked him straight out if he would be willing to fight for me and take in my needs and that I didn’t want to pay for any spousal support. He just said he would look at my file . So I paid him the 500 to look at my file and him and Matthew together totally disregard my request to not pay any spousal support and told my that was my only option? It was like they just didn’t even bother to look at my file . I should have be entitled to my money back because they didn’t meet my needs as requested. You denying any disregarding this as a not good fit is totally ridiculous. You need to talk to them and set them straight! Hey we’re supposed to work for me and not what is easier for them ??? Lawyers should be held accountable for there actions when they go against there clients wishes !!

What an awesome experience working with Evolve Law. I absolutely loved their process and flat fees. Great communication, professional and things were accomplished in a timely manner. They handled a separation agreement for me and it went very smooth. Their process is more of an online email based but always there if you need to reach out and they hit their targets. I hope to never have to go through this again but they would be my first choice if I had to. Thanks so much guys.

Life is hard. Divorce is excruciatingly difficult but Evolve and Beau made it bearable. I love how I paid a flat rate to have all my needs met. They were very transparent with their fees which took away one less thing to worry about. Beau is very approachable and down to earth based on his own personal experiences.
