A great cycle ride with Naomi We booked the 2 hour cycle ride not realising the inauguration of Canada’s new Governor General was the exact time of our ride. Naomi rose to the challenge of the closed roads and cycle paths using her extensive knowledge of routes around Ottawa to give us a most enjoyable ride, as well as a safe one. History, anecdotes and views of the city plus crossing a lock gate were all part of our ride with the lively and knowledgeable Naomi. Would definitely recommend Escape for your visit to Ottawa.

Friendly, helpful service. Lots of bikes. All bikes come with lock, helmet, and bottle cage. Bring your own bottle, gloves, and phone holder. Reasonable prices. The only negative was that the tandem we rented was a low quality model with a janky shifter, limited gear range, and overly relaxed geometry for urban riding.

I had a wonderful experience with my bike rental. The staff were all so kind and patient as I was new to an e-bike. The bike was well maintained and adjusted for me. 5/5 experience I learned about their water sports equipment rental. Definitely will need to go and try those out another day!

A Great experience! We Would recommend escape bikes in Ottawa They were very accommodating by switching our date due to the weather. Upon arrival the bikes, locks and helmets were all awaiting us upon arrival. The staff explained everything to us. She also suggested a route for the ride and took time to make sure we knew where to get onto the route!

My dad and I had the best cycle around Ottawa on the 3-hour Tulip Tour with Escape Bicycle Tours and Rentals, and our fantastic guide truly made all the difference! From the moment we arrived, the team was professional, welcoming, and efficient. We were quickly kitted up and had a truly excellent experience from start to finish. Great service! Staff (and owner, Maria) are super knowledgeable and friendly. We’ve rented from Escape on three different occasions when visitors come to town and we have always had a great experience. Bikes are in tip top shape.
