Eric arrived punctually and was very pleasant, he seemed extremely knowledgeable about our elderly baby grand and quickly brought it back into tune. We have no hesitation in recommending him as an excellent piano tuner. P Edge (Mrs)

Big thank you!!Big thank you!!
I bought an old piano that was in need of tuning and some servicing. I messaged Eric as I had found his business online and he promptly replied. I sent him photos he requested and again he got back to me quickly with a quote and offered a date for booking. He arrived on time and in the end spent about 4 hours. I wasn't quite sure how well the piano can be tuned as it was an old, well used one with a fair amount of scratches here and there but after an initial inspection Eric was confident it can be done. He did all the cleaning, replaced a string and two tapes and tuned it beautifully. I'm really happy with the result which also came at a very reasonable price. I'll be booking Eric again when the piano needs tuning in the future.

Thank you for your great review! I hope you get much pleasure from your new piano!Thank you for your great review! I hope you get much pleasure from your new piano!
Came over on-time, tuned a piano that was probably far more out-of-tune than he was expecting, and then charged much less than I was expecting. Fixed up a few other issues with the piano, and a friendly guy too. Came equipped with everything he needed. Also told us some interesting facts about the piano.
Absolutely brilliant. Spent the entire day tuning and fixing a tired piano. A real labour of love for him I feel. Incredibly personable and will work to a budget. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Thanks again for this. Yes I do love my work, it was fascinating to discover more about Rushworth & Dreaper, such a shame that all records were destroyed in 2002! Thanks again for this. Thanks for a great review! Enjoy your piano! Thanks for a great review! Enjoy your piano!
Hi Eric, you asked for an apology from myself hence another bad review! I have nothing to apologise for, you came into my house, lied through your teeth, charged me for work you did not complete and lied to me about the cost of parts! If I had agreed to let you carry out the work you wanted to I would have paid through the nose for pointless work to be carried out on a piano that was unfortunately passed the point of repair and you would have quite happily taken this money from me! You talk of your excellent reputation, however after speaking to the real professionals of your industry it’s seems your reputation is not in fact excellent and it is actually quite poor, I say real professionals due to your extremely unprofessional response to my previous review, everyone is entitled to an opinion and I gave a frank and honest review; you ripped me off and if anyone deserves an apology it is me and I would quite like my money back!
Kind regards
Tracey
On the two occasions Eric Sievers has tuned our piano we have found him to be professional, enthusiastic about his trade and also friendly and pleasant to communicate with. His pricing seems reasonable too. The last time he came to us at short notice and promptly tuned the piano before it was going to be played for an online event for the following few days. We’re glad to have found him.

I can't rate Eric highly enough. Having had challenges with other tuners Eric is keen to hear what the client is looking for and to help to understand the questions raised rather than dismissing any concerns. Highly professional and well worth his fee! Would happily recommend to anyone wanting to get the best from their instrument. It is now beautifully in tune with real care and understanding about improving the overall sound and giving me a positive experience. Many thanks Eric

I’ve only left one star because I can’t leave any less, do not trust this man! He would have quite happily let me pay through the nose to ‘fix’ and unfixable piano! I’ve had a second opinion from someone who has told me I was ripped off, he charged me for work he didn’t complete and lied to me about the cost of parts! I want my money back!!

Not my fault that your piano can’t be fixed at a reasonable price. Any workman coming to you has to charge for their time, as I told you beforehand. You are out of order to try and spoil my excellent reputation. Not my fault that your piano can’t be fixed at a reasonable price. And then the bereft family blame you for doing your best? That’s what you have done to me, so you need to apologise.
Absolutely recommend Eric. I've used him twice now. He provides a very professional and excellent service, he arrives on time too which is alway a good thing. He really knows his stuff and clearly cares about getting the job done right. My 115 year old piano sounds really fabulous again. I am so delighted. Thank you Eric.

After picking up an old piano for next-to-nothing, I was excited to start learning to play, but also nervous about the costs of bringing the piano into a playable state. Eric arrived on time, and was very professional in his conduct and judgement. He told me what I could expect, what the likely costs were to be, and helped me to come to an informed decison on the work to be carried out, with full consideration given to my budget. He carried out the work efficiently, and has breathed new life into this piano.... I now can not wait to start learning to play.
I would wholeheartedly reccommend Eric to anyone; he is knowledeable and professional, he charges very reasonable prices, and he is also a very friendly person - it was a pleasure to have him service this piano, and I hope to use him again when it is time for another tuning.
