Purchased(or thought I did) a place in West Brom named Society House. Construction was stopped a year ago and haven’t seen reservation fee or deposit since and nobody from ERE responds. I’m sure someone from ERE will reply to this saying ‘not true’ but Google ‘society house West Bromwich’ for yourself and you’ll see the statues.

Thank you. We are aware of the situation with society house & the construction delays. If you are a buyer you will be in touch with your solicitor who will be keeping you informed & on our monthly client care update list. To be clear we are not the developer & delays are out of our control. But we do make every effort to chase updates and keep clients informed. We have emailed all buyers monthly with updates & we respond to all individual enquiries.
The Society house development has been delayed. But as you will know of you are a genuine client. You are still legally within the long stop date. With the option to rescind once this has passed.
As we have said on the other reviews you have left. Please identify yourself and we will be more than happy to assist further.

Tried to purchase a place in Leeds through them but lost my 5k reservation fee when project didn’t go ahead.

This is clearly a victorious review which we will have removed. Please call and identify yourself. We will be able to chase the money if you are genuine. We have no buyers who have ever lost a reservation fee in Leeds.
Purchased a property through them but it never completed and lost a ton of money. Team did nothing to help recover it.

It would really help your reputation if you delivered projects on time. The one I invested in is over 7 months late and not even a courtesy update or professional communication let alone an apology!

We are sorry that you are frustrated, Samantha has been in contact with the developer as much as she could, and we have chased the developer for updates to keep you informed as we said last week, we are still awaiting an update. We have no control over the construction of the development your contract is with the developer for the delivery of your property, we can only apologise that there have been delays from the developer however the economy has also caused this to be delayed too. The service provided by the letting agent team is flawless and very efficient. Jade Field is one of our main point of calls, her communication is fast, and she always gets any issues we have sorted straight away. Jade is great at what she does and is always more than happy to help.

Very upset and disappointed in how I was looked after by this letting agents during my tenancy.. Waited 6 months for fixture and fittings issues to be resolved and was only acted upon when we handed our notice in. This included an electrical fault on the main heat source for the kitchen/dining area which we couldn't use during the winter which was when my wife was in her early stages of pregnancy. Because of these issue's been unresolved we left earlier than planned to. After cleaning the flat from top to bottom when we left we was left with a false report on the cleanliness of the property with pictures of somebody else's flat added to the report ( I know from the angle of doors and rooms ) as evidence putting our bond into a holding account due to a dispute. We left with not having much wear and tear about the property which is legally accepted as having been lived in. The landlord was also a discrase, even tho the rent pays his morgage, gives him an income and secures an investment for his future he was quick enough to take the money and not look after us but then also had the cheek to put a claim in against us based on the end of tenancy false report. This company was ment to be a mutual go between tenants and landlords where both parties were to be lef happy but it was made to feel like we was the accused especially when there was a fault with the washer machine deemed to be by a professional a manufacturer fault. Very disappointed

Like I said there was pictures of other peoples flat in the report and the scuffs or dirt was not there when I left. The place was left spotless!! The handover agent said we could go and didn't go when we did.. she stayed behind to finish her report 😉 which was all false other than the holes i left from taking my blinds down.. and the compensation wasn't really a good offer was it?? after been left over the winter period with my pregnant wife without heating in the open plan living space??
Too right im unhappy and its far from resolved and you never said the arrears were deducted aswell so thats a lie

I apologise you felt unsatisfied with our service during your tenancy. ERE have explained to you that as you moved into a new build property all maintenance issues were still to be covered under warranty and the developer failed to resolve these issues for us in a timely manner. You were offered a reasonable amount of compensation for the inconvenience you faced during this time, as a gesture of goodwill by the landlord. Unfortunately, when you vacated the property, we could not ignore the cleanliness issues as well as large scuff marks and screw marks on the walls. Given that this was a brand new property when you moved in and only a 1 year tenancy we had to look to deduct damages from this as it is not classed as fair wear and tear, as well as deducting your outstanding arrears. I understand this is currently being resolved through a dispute and wish you all the best in your new home.
