Ryan has been really supportive with my boat repair and maintenance jobs. I found Ryan / Enginetek Marine through Google research and enquired - Ryan called me and spent a good half hour or more just talking and asking questions and listening to my thoughts (as a novice my end I’m learning a lot). Ryan’s workmanship has been excellent, he’s always given me professional feedback and options - and we’ve discussed the pro and con of each. Ryan has always made the time - despite being really busy - going the extra mile. I won’t use anyone else.

If you have a problem with your engines, alternator, fuel flow, filters, generator etc you need to go to these guys. They methodically diagnosed some issues relating to my Caterpillar engines and got them fully resolved. They also attended when they said they would and did not hit me with a disproportionate bill. Very pleased to have discovered them. Great work. Thanks.

I recently used Enginetek to sort out all the remaining issues on my Corvette at the end of a long refurbishment. They were able to resolve issues with the trim tabs which turned out to be defective switches. Replaced and rewired. The inability to switch control from lower helm to Flybridge was traced to trapped cables and was resolved Engine tick overs where synchronized and adjusted. A more difficult and complicated issue with both alternators was diagnosed and rectified. This turned out to be a combination of issues but eventually both where rebuilt and defective wiring was also replaced. Finally an old exhaust pipe was properly sealed of too prevent water ingress. The guys did a very good job and kept me fully informed throughout I can recommend without reservation Tim Roe 29 September 2024

If you have a boat and need an engineer DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. If I could give 10 stars then I would.

Had loads of issues with the boat since purchase ranging from fuel system to coils, to gear box rebuilds, none starting issues etc. It has been a nightmare. Ryan has been very helpful and managed to get it to a working condition now. Ryan goes out of his way to accommodate and help and has fit us in last minute several times to save a weekend. Thank goodness for Ryan! I was struggling to get a very stubborn Propeller off of its shaft when a fellow boater introduced me to his “mate” Ryan. I’m sure the prop had been there for decades and access to the end of the shaft was also restricted by the proximity of the rudder skeg. Ryan obviously loves problem solving because over a couple of hours he fetched, then tried, two different pullers until finally, with a satisfying ‘Ping’ the prop let go. Only when the job was done did Ryan give me his business card and I found out that he wasn’t just a helpful “mate” but a true professional to boot. So the least I can do in return is post this review. Ryan, you’re an absolute gem!

I engaged Enginetek to conduct an inspection on the engine, mechanical and electrical components on a Bavaria sailing yacht that I was in the process of purchasing. Ryan from the beginning was professional and prompt in his responses to what actions he could complete. During the inspection he provided an easy to understand running commentary on what he was inspecting and areas that required attention. Following the inspection he provided a detailed report which was reader friendly and easy to understand. I will continue to use Enginetek going forward due to the excellent service provided.
