平日13時過ぎ入店。鰤づくし御膳を頂く。
用が在り訪れた見知らぬ都会で大して期待せず入店だったが、鰤づくしが想像以上にちゃんとしてておぢビックリしたと言ったところでしょうか。
悪口コメントも散見されるが、多少の外食的濃い目な味付けではあるものの文句言う程ではないし、確かに会計時のスカしたイタイお店の人は1mmもありがとうとか思って無いのがモロバレな程に魂の位が低過ぎたが、きっと来世はフナムシ確定だから不貞腐れてるんだろうなと思うと怒る気にならない。
小さな事を気にするより鰤が美味しいな~とニコニコ頂いた方が圧倒的に幸せな昼食であり、都会の人はギスギスしてて何だか哀れみすら覚える。正にすみなすものは心なりけり、である。
We had a good meal here on a lunchtime. Looks small from the outside but large area with both sit at tables and sunken tables where you have to take off your shoes. They have lockers to store your shoes so no chance of loosing yours. Service was timely and efficient. Presentation of the food and the amount provided was good. A bit more expensive that the other restaurants on the same level.
It’s a pity, I have been to this place a couple of times with Japanese friends and had good experiences,but this time i went with family but I believe the manager (dressed in white coat) on evening of 23rd Nov 2025 was unprofessional. I noticed him scolding young friendly helpful waiter. We used English menu and ordered from menu. Our daughter ate a dish which says it had sesame source but when our daughter started to have allergic reaction enquired and found out it actually had peanuts in it. I told several waiter and the manager to make sure he label items with nuts. But the manager commented that we should have told them our daughter had allergies before ordering. We were not able to eat our food that came after, but were charged for food we couldn’t eat and on top were also charged 1800 seating charge on top of compulsory drinks fees. We waited a long time for antihistamine medication to kick in and asked if we needed to call ambulance would they help. We were informed they cannot help call ambulance and we have to make our own way if needed. Luckily the medication eventually work but no one willing to help other than young waiter who gave us water and tea who was scolded. I think it is the manager on the night that is rude and created a very unhealthy culture on the night. Other times we’ve been there they have been good. Giving this rating so people need to be weary if the same manager stays there and owner does nothing about it. I’m not sure the manager would take our advice to label the menu clearly for other customers as we suggested. I get the impression the manager does not care and may not act. Please note you are out of pocket at least 1100 yen before you order food plus 10% extra tax on top. And if you have any issues don’t expect any help nor sympathy.
EXCELLENT FOOD. BILL WILL BE HIGHER THAN EXPECTED. We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our tour guide. The food was very good, well seasoned and spiced and good variety. It was well presented. The food deserved a 4-5 rating. The atmosphere was typical restaurant. Noise level was appropriate for the type of restaurant. At first we thought that as foreign tourists we might have been ripped off by the restaurant b/c we were served and charged for an appetizer we didn't order and a 10% service was added to the bill. However, our guide later explained that an “appetizer” is commonly served and charged for at Izakaya type restaurants. The “service charge” is also customary for this type of restaurant. Service for us was a little spotty because there weren't a lot of English-speaking staff, so we had communication difficulties.
