While we wish pricing were as simple as just the cost of ingredients, the reality in Barbados is that vegan and gluten-free ingredients are significantly more expensive than in many other places. For example, a single brick of organic tofu costs $26, and our gluten-free breading is made from scratch, adding to both time and expense. Gluten-free wraps also come at a premium, and when you factor in overhead costs like rent, utilities, and packaging—things essential to keeping our doors open—it all adds up quickly.
That said, we appreciate your input and will look into increasing the portion size of our house-made vegan chicken where possible. Our goal has never been just profit, but rather to nourish and provide quality plant-based meals.

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. At Eleven Oh 7, we take dietary restrictions very seriously, and most of our menu is gluten-free. We always advise customers accordingly and do our best to ensure celiac safety.

This will help us trace the ingredients used, especially since we do outsource some items like spices. To date, the only item on our menu that is not gluten-free is our bagel buns, but we want to ensure nothing else was a factor.

We’d like to take a moment to explain why our prices may seem higher than some other options. At Eleven Oh 7, we pride ourselves on crafting our entire menu from scratch using organic, plant-based ingredients. As you may know, organic and plant-based ingredients are not only more expensive in Barbados but also require extra care and time to prepare.

Quality is our priority, and we believe in providing our customers with meals made from wholesome, nutritious ingredients. Every dish is made in-house, including sauces, seasonings, and other components—except the packaging, of course!

We work hard to keep our prices as accessible as possible by only marking up 0.5x to help cover overheads, and this doesn’t even include labor costs. It's our goal to ensure our meals remain affordable without compromising the quality and care that goes into each plate.

We truly understand that cost is a factor, but we encourage you to consider the true value of what we offer—real, scratch-made, plant-based meals created with intention and high-quality ingredients. We invite you to explore the cost of organic products in Barbados and judge fairly based on that.

Additionally, given that you chose delivery through a third-party service, a percentage of your payment also goes to the delivery platform, which further affects the final price you pay. This is something we have little control over, but we appreciate your support in opting for delivery!

We apologize that your experience did not meet the standards we strive to provide. At Eleven Oh 7, we handcraft all our menu items from scratch using wholesome ingredients, prioritizing quality over quantity. Quality ingredients and the time required to prepare fresh meals can be costly.

After reviewing your receipt, it shows that you ordered six items: two portions of King Oyster mushrooms (a popular choice), BBQ Jackfruit pineapple fried rice, a Buddha bowl (another favorite), a 20oz signature hand-squeezed basil lemonade (which we remade unsweetened upon request), and a 9oz milkshake upgraded with vegan protein.

We appreciate your feedback regarding our pricing. Our prices reflect the costs of ingredients, labor, and overheads. We value our staff and compensate them fairly for their dedication to making our guests feel valued. We want every guest to feel they've received a dining experience worth their investment, so we wanted to explain our cost determination process.
