Been a customer for 8 years. Only in the last year has my satisfaction dropped. They used to be understanding and allow payment plans on huge deliveries, but recently they are less flexible and patient and ruder and when I was making regular payments toward a huge delivery, they changed my account to pay for full tank ahead of time, schedule own delivery, and any “overpayment” wouldn’t be refunded but rather “credit” on my account. So I have to pay a full tank (over 1000) and if I only need $300, tough. I’m gone.

Wonderful people to work with! We first worked with Ehrhart at New Park Event Venue as a fuel oil supplier. When we had an emergency issue at our second property, they took our customer status seriously, and worked hard to get Diamond on Seneca in Hector set up as an Ehrhart propane customer, including swapping out propane tanks (a fascinating process to watch - they bring a crane that's so precise that one person can place it...I watched the whole thing with popcorn). They've been very helpful every time I call - I usually think "gosh they're going to have to get a tech to answer this one" but Darlene has literally seen it all and she's been able to give me excellent guidance right over the phone. Ehrhart has been an absolute pleasure to work with!

Absolutely terrible service. My driveway is clear and I’m almost out of propane. They are refusing to come up my driveway when I have young kids in this house. Crazy they want to charge an additional 250.00 fee to put chains on their vehicle so they can get up my driveway. Would definitely go with someone else for propane

We have been very satisfied with how quickly they deliver propane. They always make sure we have propane even with this extreme cold. It is reassuring to know that we don't have to worry about heating needs now that we switched to Ehrhart! We highly recommend this superior team of professionals

I strongly recommend avoiding Ehrhart Energy. They were misleading about their billing cycles, and when I tried to get clarification, the office staff were rude, unhelpful, and eventually stopped answering my calls altogether. To make matters worse, they sent a bill to collections without giving me a fair chance to communicate or resolve the issue. This negatively impacted my credit, which is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. There are much better propane companies out there with fair pricing, clear communication, and respectful customer service. I would not recommend using Ehrhart Energy.

I purchased a home in Trumansburg that had their tank on the property and i switched companies. When Erhart came to pick up their tank they got the truck stuck in my yard and had to get another truck to come pull them out and when they did that THEY DUG UP AND PUT HUGE RUTS IN MY YARD!!!!! I call them to tell them they have to fix my yard I get the run around!!! I keep getting told I will get a call back from the Brad, the manager and needless to say its been a week and NO CALL!!!!! They better make it right! or i will take them to small CLAIMS COURT!!!! THESE GUYS SUCK!

Exceptional customer service. The prior owner of the home we just purchased had a different propane supplier who did not follow through on their terms for cancelling service to that address. This created a hardship for my wife & I. After nearly 3 months of inaction from that propane supplier I was ready to seek legal help, which could have resulted in a huge expense for me. Ehrhart Energy was able to resolve the issue for me without costing me a dime! They really provided exceptional customer service to resolve a problem that another company created.

Service was great for first few years. Now they are completely ignoring my email messages. I asked them to stop delivering three times, once by direct email and twice through their email form. They keep showing up. I have yet to receive any response. If you do not have a plan they will gouge you by delivering when the price is highest. [ADDED AFTER POSTING] And wouldn't you know that an AI bot responded within 5 minutes of me posting this, yet Ehrhart is unwilling to respond to emails sent to them directly!

Delivery of my Wood Pellets were spot on . Early and place exactly where I asked them to be placed. Fork lift driver is very friendly and professional. Thanks again for another Seasons worth of heat.

The billing department is colder than a frozen propane tank. After years of being a customer, I've given up on Ehrhart. They are not friendly. Luckily we have Stewart P Wilson at another residence and I can only say great things about SP Wilson. Do your self a favor and steer clear of Ehrart Energy.

We have been with Ehrhart many years. Not once have they ever failed to amaze me with "old time" friendliness and customer service. This morning they sent out a service person to clean my furnace. He was the most informative, nicest person that one could ever meet. That is the great customer service that Ehrhart provides. Many years ago my furnace quit at 2 am on a Sunday morning. I called and within two hours a service person was there to get the furnace operational in sub zero weather! Find another company that cares that much about their customers!

Thier billing department is devoid of transparency. Zero line items, no past history, no dates, no account details, no heap balances. It's so simple, I can't understand it. The ticket from the delivery driver has far more details. After a decade they still can't predict usage within 50%. If you enjoy calling the accounts department regularly for vague answers, this is the best place to waste your time on the phone with.
