I'm pretty disappointed so far as a new customer. My inspection hasn't happened yet, so I'm not even able to use my Solar Panels. I also am only one month in, and I'm already getting charged? I haven't even gotten any promised savings of not having to pay my loan in the first two months. Ecovole is testing my patience. The sales rep is a nice guy, but the rest of the team is bad at following up despite my multiple texts and emails.
I'm a potential customer - while many recent 5 stars, I'm concerned about all the other recent 1 stars reviews(?). Would like the company to respond to all these complaints.
Not a good practice for customers to say no one is getting back to them & not see nothing here as well... again concerning. Also concerning is the company nbr is a mobile nbr with no announcement of the company name ..... just leave a massage(?).
Would not recommend Ecovole had my solar installed for about 2 years now something is wrong with the system they would not come out to repair like they said they would currently going through a lawyer to get this off my house
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE HIGHWAYMEN. My sales rep has disappeared off of the face of the planet, they over charged, under delivered, impossible to get a hold of, and dodging paying contractors what they are owed. At least their install work wasn’t bad, but customer support is abysmal.
I have been having problems with fuses blowing in my initial disconnect box. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Andrea the whole time. She has been very helpful getting an inspection scheduled. She is an excellent example of what the "face" of a company should be. They are fortunate to have her.
This company is a scam. Richard (a salesman for them) came to my house 9/23/24 telling me that if I installed the solar panels I would not have another electric bill. I would only pay the flat rate for the panels each month. I am now paying more each month than what I was for just my power! I specifically asked about winter because I had added supplemental heat already to reduce my electric bills and was told the panels would produce 110% of my usage so it would cover my winter usage too. Heck, they do not even cover my summer usage and my panels are in the middle of a wide open 100% sun area!! This company should be shut down. They do not return calls or emails to even try to resolve any issues!
I submitted a BBB complaint as well when I posted this and the company never responded to that either! Such a shame!!
Do not agree to anything with the sales person, you want Solar Panels try contacting the company yourself. This is definitely fraud, the way Ecovole uses 1099 contracted sales people then when it’s time for promises to be acted on, the 1099 worker dodge you and ignore you. Ecovole tells you to contact the sales people all while you are thinking they all work together as a company and it’s the managers job. They word their contract to dodge responsibility of the 1099 worker if you take the time to read through it. On day 1, We spoke to and agreed with the sales person named Brayton Bradbury in the Oak Grove, MO area that our front yard tree needed to be removed before we agree to anything. Brayton called and confirmed with his boss that the tree could be removed before we agreed to Solar Panels in May of 2025. Why would we want panels if a tree hangs over the roof and panels, makes zero sense. The panels were up in June of 2025. It is March of 2026 and we are still trying to get the tree removed that hangs over the roof and solar panels as we were told could happen. I called the finance company the Ecovole has already been paid. The managers at Ecovole said the funds to remove our tree have already been dispersed to Brayton and his partner Connor but they will not respond or contact me. I am so disappointed and I strongly urge everyone to say NO to Ecovole at this point so you don’t end up in a hard spot like we have or worse. This is ridiculous and a horrible way to run a company. All we wanted was a piece of mind with Solar not all this drama. We have too many other things going on in life to have to deal with other people’s mess ups. I will gladly remove/edit my review if Ecovole makes this right. Good luck!

Do not use them. Read the rest of the reviews. We had solar installed in 2024, and our roof leaks. They will not do anything as they say it is not their fault. Communication is horrible. I wish we had never had them installed. We do not see nearly the savings that they claim.
Ecovole was great during the installation process. Communicated the entire time and everything went in without a hitch. After the install, my utility company came out to inspect and turn on the system and informed me that half my panels were not working. I sent a picture of the flag they left to ecovole and they sent an email or two for me to check breakers and switches, which were all on and in the correct position. Now my system has been in for months producing half the amount of power it should. I was ready to recommend them to others until they stopped communicating about this. They also installed my panels on the north side of my roof, instead of the south facing roof. Doesn’t make much sense to me, but maybe the panels are made to handle indirect light.
Update: they contacted me and resolved the issues the day after posting this review. They said one of their employees wasn’t doing their job. Anyway, Ecovole was great other than one hiccup. Those things happen.
Update 1/19/26: They no longer reply to me when I contact them for service.

I haven’t been able to get a return call from Ecovole. After 6 months of my solar panels not functioning, I finally took matters into my own hands and started climbing in my attic and up on the roof. Upon inspecting their work, it’s even worse than I thought. Loose connections and sloppy work galore. Incorrect wire nuts caused a fault from loose connections. Once I fixed the AC line connections all my microinverters started communicating and my solar panels are producing again. Luckily, I have electrical knowledge and have worked in construction 25 years so I can fix this stuff. If you’re not handy, DON’T hire Ecovole.
The crew was awesome and courteous. They answered all of my technical questions about installation, power upgrades, and billing. Very grateful for them

If you go with solar, do not use this company. Ours is still not finished. Poor communication, unorganized company, and lack of knowledge on how to hook it up properly. For 100 grand, everything should work properly and be correctly installed. Ours still isn't months later.
This company is such a scam, it's not even funny. We had a massive system installed on our home that doesn't even begin to compensate for our energy usage, so we are now saddled with two monthly bills, paying more than we did before when they assured us we could completely produce enough energy with solar. Not only that, but in order to pay off enough towards your loan to reduce your monthly payment, you have to apply the entire 30% tax credit you receive towards your bill. But you don't even receive the entire credit at once! They don't tell you, it's given in installments over the years and there's no way to get it all at once. These guys are scam artists to the highest degree.
This company is HORRIBLE at customer support and communication. I had my system installed in 2023, they were supposed to take care of my rebates for me, and they still have not gotten them done (I'm writing this review in Jan of 2026). I have called and emailed numerous times and get little to either get no response or "let me look into it and I will call you back in the next day or so" and never get a call back.
Wouldn’t even leave a 1 star! They were very attentive with sales, but once the panels were install, we haven’t heard ANYTHING and no one is responding to us!!! We are contacting an attorney at this point.
This company installed my solar a little over 3 years ago. I had an inverter go bad no questions asked they had it replaced at no cost. Then this year I had my disconnect box go bad and I had to have an electrician and come out and replace it. I got a hold of Andrea and explained what had happened to it. She reached out and had the accountant directly pay the invoice from the electrician. Needless to say it was a painless experience and my overall satisfaction with this company is a five star. I highly recommend them if you're looking to install solar.
