What an absolute gem! We planned to stay 3 nights and ended up staying for 5. This park is an a lovely location, and within walking distance to shops. The park backs onto the river with a beautiful walking path that follows the river. We were traveling with 2 dogs and at checkin we were thoughtfully placed next to a large grassy area. Allan also kindly looked after our dogs for a few hours so that we could take a river cruise. We will definitely be back!

A little hidden gem is Waikerie , Stayed 3 nights on powered grass Van site , Site was a bit small for our setup, but the gravel and mat sites are big , Nice clean amenities, close to the river and town 4 Klms of good walking tracks along the river and cliffs Dog friendly and no traffic noise ✅

Great convenient location, close to river. Park is lovely, and well maintained. Looks like there are quite a few new family friendly cabins. I stayed in a pet friendly cabin which was fine for me and my poochie. A family would struggle even though it has a double bed and bunk, as cabin is on the smaller side. Having said that, has everything you need fridge, microwave and other basic necessities inc linen. Been a great little getaway for me and being close to the river, perfect for plenty of walks 🐕. Would definitely come back with the caravan.

Nice park, great location, but be very specific when booking in, or you may not get what you thought you booked. Also be aware of a holiday surcharge. I found $20 per night excessive for a one room cabin! Cabin 20 needs some maintenance. Exhaust extractor for kitchen not working. Exhaust vent in bathroom needs cleaning, vent over bunk beds coming off the wall. I might also suggest a blind over the large bathroom window which catches all the afternoon sun. Makes for a good sauna.

We camped on the grass areas so I cant rate the rooms. The facilities were great. New Year music, cocktails and food van made for a fun night. Pancake Saturday gold coin donation to The RFD is an excellent idea. Location to both town and boat ramp was excellent.

Was put on a campsite way to small for my caravan, pretty sure the dump point was out of order, the rec room had missing pieces to board games and ping pong table so basically couldn't use anything in there and they were also limiting how much power you can use. I was only getting maximum 500watts on power the first day and a maximum of 800watts second day. Wouldn't stay here again especially for the prices there asking and wouldn't recommend either there are plenty of free campsites that are much nicer nearby.

Only good thing was location. but bad service, rude reception, delayed check in because of lack of communication and organisation. No after hours contact in case of emergency. Cabin cleaning service wasn’t any where near good. Overall wouldn’t be happy to return or recommend

Regarding the cleaning and servicing of your cabin, we’re sorry it didn’t meet your expectations. We do try to make our servicing process as smooth as possible; however, as a holiday park rather than a hotel, we don’t have the same level of housekeeping resources. Even so, the standard you experienced is not what we aim to deliver, and we’ll be reviewing this with our team.

We also have an after-hours emergency contact process in place, and we apologise if this wasn’t made clear on your arrival.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with a much better experience.

What a gem of a park, staff were great at check-in, amenities are clean as was the camp kitchen. Close to the river and the walking/bike track with easy access to the bird hides.
