I was a little worried about boarding our older kitties as they had never spent a night away from home, but we were having our floors refinished so there was no option. ACCR was highly recommended by our vet and we were not disappointed! The cats apparently settled in quickly and came home very relaxed and well cared for. I will not hesitate to send them to the Retreat again.

Our cat has a difficult medicine regimen (every 8 hours) and no other place is willing to take it on. I am so grateful to Arnold Creek Cat Retreat not only for that, but also how calm and kind they are to our kitty. Shirley runs a tight ship and you can be sure that your pet is in good hands.

This woman cancelled the reservation that I made months before a necessary international departure claiming “my license prohibits operation on Sunday “ even though she confirmed a Sunday drop off of my cat in front of myself and a good friend. Not to be trusted, in my opinion, even though I was referred by a veterinarian. Let’s your cat out of the bag, so to speak!

The Four Seasons for felines . We never thought we would have to find boarding for our cats however Hobbes needs the attention and stimulation that the retreat provides. I was a nervous wreck the first time however Hobbes came home happy and relaxed!!! Hobbes has been many times and always comes home content. I can’t say enough about Shirley and her staff…….the entire Retreat is exquisite! Thank you ….thank you…..thank you!!!

I'm new to cat ownership and was very stressed out about the prospect of boarding my cat for the first time. He has a ton of energy and a prescription diet due to being prone to urinary crystals. My sister told me to bring him here (apparently she had boarded him here previously before transferring care to me after the birth of my niece) and Shirley was very kind in walking me through the process and getting it all set up. Plus, based on the preliminary research I did, the price is beyond fair. Plenty of places in Portland charge way more for way less. If I'm out of town again I wouldn't think about housing Milo anywhere else.
