From start to finish, Chris and Hayley have been amazing. Supporting my survey, supplying extra information needed from my lender and conducting the works on my new home. They are so understanding about the stressful nature about buying a home, the cost it takes for some of the works and the best ways to explain to the customer the benefits, and costs over a longer period. Lee also was amazing, him and the guys conducted our works, but he called to clarify, and even checked when i was available after they had finished the works to meet me in person and go through the next steps ie, how i go about painting etc after the works had been done and gave his person details for any questions i may have. Guys, thank you all so much for all your hard work and support and for anyone needing, these are the business you choose. Personal, honest, understanding and hardworking!

I was going to give a 4 or 5 stars as Chris and his team were very nice and easy to talk, but after the job done, we found some imperfections that made me give 3 stars only. The work was performed in few walls, and most are ok and seems done well. But one of the wall was not plastered well in the way that the wall was decorated with wall paper and the team did not remove the wallpaper and plastered over the wallpaper, as a consequence, when we remove the wall paper to paint, all the wallpaper trapped under the new plaster came off and we need to chop off all plaster that leaves a big gap which is not possible to correct by sanding down alone. We need to replaster ourselves. Chris offered us that he will send a man to replaster the whole wall with charges. But we don’t want to wait for another day and day and decided to do ourselves. That was really disappointing. I think the team should learn that these things can happen and if that happens, to inform the owner in advance and we could discuss these before finishing the job.

Fast and professional service from a friendly team. Initial survey of our house was booked and done very soon after initial call, with a thorough look round and then a recommendation to install some units to help with the damp and mold problem. The actual installation was arranged within just a few days, and done in a matter of a couple of hours by a team of 3 who were friendly, explained what they were doing and why, kept things clean and tidy by putting down protective sheets, hoovered up afterwards, and did a spot of plastering to fill some gaps around one of the new units to leave a neater finish. Too soon to say it's solved the underlying problem but the signs are good and the sensor we having in the house is already showing relative humidity down under 60% which it hasn't done before, after just 24 hours or so. Recommended.

Had damp issues with my front wall ( terrace) and had a few companies come out and try to solve the problem to which the damp was still coming in when they'd left. Chris and his team came out and went above and beyond for me and solved the problem. Can't recommend these guys enough, thanks for all your hard work

Easy Damp have just finished an extensive 2-week treatment on the outside of my 100-year old bungalow, and I can’t thank them enough. The team were always punctual, polite, respectful of my property, and really put in the hours, despite having to often work in horrible weather and failing light. I am really happy with the work they have done, and feel so reassured by the way my bungalow now looks on the outside - and feels inside. Hayley in the office was really supportive and great at staying in touch with me throughout the process, too. Rang regarding Damp issues at our property. Surveyor was sent very quickly, arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable and explained everything they thought was going on. Recommended a course of action and gave price. We have had some of the work done so far and this was carried out quickly and efficiently. The workmen were very clean and tidy and rang to let us know they were on their way. Hayley in admin was brilliant throughout. She is really helpful and friendly and easily contactable. I would definitely recommend

We’ve had easydamp round twice to carry out work in our home due to condensation issues in the upstairs bedrooms. On both occasions the work has been done to an excellent standard and the customer service is very good

Charged £150.00 for a verbal report? Wont put this in writing. Had 2 other surveys conducted at £100 and £50 both in writing by accredited contractors. Tried to contact the company without success, and to be honest £10,000 for damp in a terrace house is a complete rip off. As someone who uses damp proof contractors often with my job, this is the highest amount i have ever seen, never mind the house in question is a 2 bed terrace and requires 2 walls damp proofing. I can only imagine the other reviews are people who have not had other quotes or friends of the owners also. Would like to see who this company are accredited by also, as nothing on the website to state this. A verbal quote does not satisfy a mortgage lender either.

Our house was built circa 1931. We had rising damp due to a failed DPC and penetrative damp as a result of salt and nitrates from a chimney that had been removed several years ago. I spent a lot of time searching for the right local company to carry out the work, reading as many reviews from customers as possible. Easy Damp UK came out on top! Chris Smith conducted a thorough survey and went through possible options to resolve the problem. I wish I had kept notes at the time of the visit but Chris and Haley were always on the phone to clarify things and provided confirmation by e mail. When the day came “Team Easy Damp” arrived on my doorstep promptly and full of energy. Lee and Hayden outlined the day to day activity as the project progressed, although I didn’t fully appreciate the need for dwell times for adhesives and plaster to set off! 🤦🏻‍♂️ During the time the team were with us we ensured they were well watered and a sandwich was available! I think it was Napoleon Bonaparte who said an army can’t march on an empty stomach. Well this team really got stuck in on a daily basis, most impressive! However, the schedule was rocked with the discovery of a chimney in the dining room that needed urgent action. The team reacted swiftly, professionally and offered a suitable solution and the problem was resolved very swiftly. Needless to say there was an impact on the schedule, but let me be clear, the work involved installing a DPC, installing a membrane and plastering a gable end wall in the master bedroom, chimney breast in the back bedroom, four walls and a fireplace in the dining room, one wall in the lounge, the replacement of skirting boards and rendering outside brickwork. To say the work was extensive and filled with the odd surprise “Team Easy Damp” rose to the challenge. We had to vacate the premises whilst the work was carried out, the bathroom and kitchen were the only rooms still functional although the kitchen was cordoned off to prevent dust infiltration. We sampled five different Premiere Inns locally and will hopefully return home this weekend. I would advise anyone not to underestimate the amount of disruption this type of work can cause. However I can only thank the team for their hard work, professionalism and great customer service. I would have no hesitation in recommending Easy Damp UK to anyone needing damp issues rectifying.

Recently called Easy Damp regarding damp patches on dining room chimney wall. Surveyor was sent within a few days and identified rising damp in 2 walls. Explained work that needed doing and also recommended installation of 2 extractor fans, in both bathroom and kitchen to prevent to help air flow in these areas.Work started a few weeks later, which was undertaken quickly and effectively by 4 polite and friendly employees, over 2 days. Very pleased with work done and would definitely use again

We had penetration damp to 3 interior walls and salts coming through from a chimney. I contacted a number of companies unsuccessfully but Easy Damp had a surveyor round in a few days and work began within a week or two. The guys are great - particular thanks to Haydn and Lee. They took walls back to the brickwork, fitted a membrane and replastered. They were a pleasure to have around over the 2-3 weeks of work. Very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Also fitted a damp course and waterproofed the brickwork. They also tidied up some old brickwork and sorted thee gutters for us so we're very happy with their work and would recommend them.
