Recommended fillers for my tear troughs and it had no effect whatsoever.
At £1500 for 2ml of poor product that should never have been recommended I have to say this was about the money not the patient and the experience.
I have a bulge and a hollow in my tear troughs. Only on seeing someone truely at the top of their game do I now know that I need transconjunctival blepharoplasty to make a difference and will also need to pay extra to get the filler that should never have been used dissolved.
Very excited to be in the hands of a real expert and even thought seeing Maryam Zamani was an expensive mistake I had a narrow miss in the grand scheme of things.
I have no interest in tarnishing anyone’s reputation but everything I have written is factual and can be verified.

Our records confirm you attended a single consultation with Dr Zamani in February 2019 with concerns regarding the lower eyelid tear troughs. At that appointment, Dr Zamani explained that the contour changes were primarily due to herniation of the lower eyelid fat pads, and that the gold standard treatment would be a transconjunctival blepharoplasty. This recommendation was also provided to you in writing following your consultation.
You indicated that you did not wish to proceed with surgery at that time and elected to try a non-surgical option. Dr Zamani discussed that hyaluronic acid filler could provide a temporary improvement but would not address the underlying anatomical issue. With your consent, treatment was carried out and before-and-after photographs were taken, which demonstrate an improvement relative to your baseline. (we will try to add them here).
Following this treatment, you did not return for follow-up nor did you contact the clinic again until this review, over SIX years later. I was seen by Ellie for laser treatment at The Clinic, and it was the most comforting experience.
Ellie took me through a consultation before the actual procedure, explaining to me what would happen during and after which completely put me at ease. She started slowly and explained each part of the procedure as she went. Afterwards she explained my after care routine and I’m honestly amazed at how quickly the whole procedure was.

From my first consultation with Dr Zamani I was put at ease, options were explored and I went down the surgery route. I felt in very safe hands! The surgery was over before I knew it with excellent care from everyone involved. I had a couple of post op questions that were answered so quickly - She even took time to ring me to reassure me that everything was as it should be :). The results after a week were incredible and I can’t thank Dr Zamani and her team enough for everything! I have my eyelids back and smooth skin underneath - perfect result!
I really appreciate Dr Zamani's approach with clients. She obviously cares that patients feel listened to and I notice that she reviews patient history beforehand before the consultations (which many doctors I've seen generally don't do). I am always nervous to have anything done to my face and she is the only doctor I've found that I trust.
Save your money. There are many other superior clinics in London, more fairly priced, owned and run by far better drs and who will do better work for you

I had a blepharoplasty procedure and under eye laser treatment to both eyes with Dr Zamani at the Cadogan Clinic. Dr Zamani was very professional, but at the same time reassuring and helpful in answering my questions. The staff at The Cadogan Clinic were also supportive and efficient during my brief time there. I would recommend Dr Zamani to anyone considering surgery or any aesthetic procedure. I am more than happy with the results.
Jaimie is a highly skilled aesthetician in every regard. She is incredibly knowledgeable, provides clear explanations, is reassuring throughout and listens carefully to concerns, guiding you step-by-step through the treatment and telling you want to expect. I am super happy with my treatments from Dr Maryam and her staff. They have helped me a lot to treat my melasma and it has worked wonders. Botched filler - a warning! A few months ago, I came to see Maryam Zamani and expressed that I was unhappy with my under eye area. Without (in hindsight) getting a thorough consultation to see whether I would be a suitable candidate for tear trough filler (I wasn’t), I was promptly whisked into a chair and injected. While the right side of my under eye responded with good results, unfortunately, my left eye (to the right of the photo), responded very badly, and within a few days the area swelled and puffed up. I thought this was to be expected and presumed the swelling and puffiness would subside within a few days. Sadly, that never happened and now, a few months on, I am left with a horrible big bag under my eye that was 100% caused by the filler. Honestly, I’ve ended up looking WORSE than before. Many people ask why I don’t go back to get it dissolved. Well, I’ve read horror stories online of people getting fillers dissolved and I don’t want to risk more complications with a surgeon I have little confidence in, so I’m going to wait this out and hope that the bag will go away with time. In the meantime, I cannot in good faith recommend coming here for aesthetic treatments.

I was referred to Dr. Marian Zamani by my aesthetic doctor for a consultation regarding a lower eyelid blepharoplasty. During our first meeting, Dr. Zamani confidently assured me that the results would be excellent. She also mentioned that she would use high-quality hyaluronic acid to ensure a perfect finish. When I asked if there would be any scars, she replied that she never leaves scars after surgery — a promise that made me feel I was in good hands.
Dr. Zamani performed the surgery in August 2020. Unfortunately, my experience did not unfold as expected.
The recovery process was long, but overall manageable. However, shortly after the surgery, I noticed that the stitches on my left eye had opened — she had not closed them properly. I called her urgently, explaining that I was bleeding. She told me to come to the clinic. Despite the urgency, she made me wait, which was incredibly distressing. When she finally saw me, she treated me in a very bad mood. I was crying, because I knew that when stitches open like that, scarring is very likely.
She re-stitched the area, but the result looked more like a bruise than proper medical care, and then she sent me home. Although my general appearance improved over time, I still had visible fat under my eyes.
I tried contacting her again, repeatedly, but she does not take personal calls. I had to communicate through her secretary, who was aware of the situation and knew about the complications. Dr. Zamani then referred me for a scan — to a place she chose — to check if what I had was water retention or residual facial product. I had never had Botox in my life, and during the pandemic I had not even used hyaluronic acid. Despite the high cost of the scan, I followed her recommendation. The results were clear: there was no water retention, no hyaluronic acid residue — only excess fat.
This confirmed that the first surgery had not been done properly, and that a second operation was necessary. Dr. Zamani said she would perform it when her schedule allowed. I had to pay again — for her surgical fee and for the full hospital team — despite the fact that the revision was required due to her own error.
Undergoing two surgeries on your face is something very serious, and I urge others to take time to research thoroughly before committing. My eyes and overall appearance changed a lot. Thanks to my aesthetic doctor, a lot of time, patience, and painful effort helped reduce the scarring — but it took significant work to get to this point.
I am writing this review to advise caution. Dr. Zamani might be good with skincare products or aesthetics — I wouldn’t know, as I never used her services in that area. But as a surgeon, at least for blepharoplasty, my experience was very disappointing.
She makes promises during the consultation that are not honoured in the operating room. Once you’re under her control as the surgeon, she does what she wants — not what was agreed. I found her to be dishonest, and I would not recommend her as a surgeon.

After discussing different options, you underwent subciliary lower eyelid blepharoplasty which always entail a scar beneath the lash line. I believe you confused this with an option that was also discussed, a transconjunctival blepharoplasty, which would have been scarless, as the incision would have been done from inside the eyelid. All information about the surgery and scar were sent to you as part of the informed consent.
There were no hyaluronic acid injections done.
The surgery was successful, and a significant amount of fat was removed. The lower eyelid stitches were removed on day 7. After surgery you had significant persistent swelling that took time to resolve; however, the left lower eyelid still had persistent puffiness. Because of the significant amount of fat removed, Dr. Zamani requested a scan to ensure it was fat as opposed to previous filler. Dr. Zamani offered to remedy this with revision and did not receive any payment for this. You were billed by the surgery center for time in the theatre and for the anesthesist. Only a small amount of fat was seen on revision. It was after this revision on day 8 that the incision site re-opened and was re-approximated.

If only she liked her clients as much as she loves herself she would have more customers. No follow up appointment whatsoever and she doesn't even look at you and is so entitled for no reason. She is not passionate about her clients nor her job. Whenever you ask a question she briefly replies and doesn't explain as if you’re meant to read her mind. Not to mention the quality of the injections is awful and they are severely understaffed. She is extremely condescending and the results aren’t even what you pay for
