Fantastic service at the Benton branch. Friendly informative staff making everything very simple. Flooring transported into car and they even gave me an off cut of mdf which I needed free of charge! Great choice of high quality flooring at a good price. Don't be tempted with more expensive poorer quality alternatives from the B&Q's of the world...do yourself a favour and make a trip here first. Branch in Blaydon too!

Couldn’t be happier with the work of Sean and Sam whose just laid our beautiful flooring from Doors and Floors! Brilliant craftsmanship and lovely people. Looking forward to getting new black doors from them too. Would highly recommend.

Had an absolute disaster a member of my staff damaged some floor with flood resulting in me having to replace the lot. ASAP. I contacted Sam at blaydon depot. She was amazing right thorugh had my flooring delivered the next working day. Sam is an asset to the company, friendly, polite and extremely helpful thank you

Norman at Benton floors and doors was excellent at helping with my many queries about glass fire doors, fixtures and fittings and other solid wood doors. Very approachable, always happy to help and find a solution! Really happy with my products and highly recommend their customer service!

Purchased LVT flooring, Paul in the store was so helpful and nothing was a bother to him. Ftted by Jordan, Luke and Ryan , great workmanship both helpful and friendly. Also had a glass staircase fitted by Jordan and Luke last year which was finished to a very hign standard.

Best customer service ever. Drove around the last 2 weeks looking for laminate flooring and I went with Doors & Floors Direct as they were the most helpful. Neil was amazing help, he was super polite and made sure I get the best deal within my budget. He even helped deliver 16 packs of laminate to my office door upstairs. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Will definitely use again in the future.

DO NOT USE. Initial wow from the sales team and Norman at Benton branch. Helpful and we were confident that this was a good choice. We used their recommended fitter, keeping everything under one roof we thought would be simpler and straight forward. How wrong! The fitter came out and quoted for the works and this was sent to Norman at Doors and Floors. Costs sent for the materials and a separate cost for the fitting. The fitting - Jonny the recommended fitter could not remember coming out to our property to quote for the job. More material were required for the which were discussed but cost for these were never discussed. Assuming that this was part of the original quote we thought nothing more. The flooring down we were left with £300+ worth of over quoted and unused materials. Here the fun begins….. Our fitter told us that it was Doors and Floors responsibility to collect and refund. I called to arrange spoke with the ever helpful Norman to be told that Jonny the fitter should have returned them. If we wanted them to collect there would be an additional £25 collection charge - no where in their paperwork under terms and conditions and that we had an additional bill for materials for £70. Both parties have refused to assist in the return of the over quoted items. Norman and the owner at Doors andFloors Kevin, have been utterly rude and arrogant dealing with the matter. Utterly appalling customer service when all I requested was a refund for items that they’re recommended fitter over quoted for. £300 is a considerable sum, have any other customer’s experienced this issue?! Neither party wish to assist in action of the refund so I’m forced to report this is the Trading Standards and County Court to try and retrieve my money. The local tax office will be included in the complaint as the cash only for fitting and no invoice or receipt of payment from the fitter is illegal too. In reply to the anonymous owner who replied to my comments - who advised through emails he was Kevin; As a customer and as per my email communication that you neglected to reply to in full - one word answer to tell me your name is not an answer to the who situation that has taken place. Your recommended fitter Jonny - who didn’t remember coming out to our property to quote yet I have all the correspondence from him and this was passed directly to you. I asked if he wanted to come back out to the job to check the quote was still good prior to the job taking place. Jonny declined and assured me that it was fine. Both in terms of materials and labour. Your comment regarding additional labour - this is the first time we have heard any mention of additional labour costs too. What are these exactly? The collection and delivery costs - I’m confused as your delivery man in a Doors and Floors van delivered the materials to us at no charge. Yet you say there is a charge for local deliveries? You do not address the issue that Jonny / Phil (also goes by the name Lee) told us that you would collect the unused materials, when I contacted you to do this completely unaware of a charge to do this Norman told us that the fitter Jonny should have returned these and that the additional materials used would come off the returned materials refund. Again charges we were unaware of. So after several calls and emails you both hold each other accountable for the return of materials - materials that were over quoted for £300 is a considerable over quote. You have not answered my questions regarding this either. How it was so over quoted? All I requested was a refund for the items, which I understand is a fair request however, this has turned into a very ugly situation. Based largely on a complete lack of communication and story telling. You have refused again today to give a refund even after we arranged at our expense for the items to be delivered back to store. Why would you do that? You leave us very little choice with how to proceed with this matter as we cannot afford to lose £300 through no fault of our own.

A customer highly recommended Floors and doors. I was delighted with the whole experience. I am not the most adept soul at choosing doors but this was soon solved by the excellent service. I was asked what type of doors I wanted and was shown the vast range of samples- it was stressed that measurement was vital. Then the fittings to go with them - plenty of fine examples to see and touch. From my ideas I was give suggestions. When I got home I realised that the bathroom door was a different size and I had forgotten the twin doors of the walk in wardrobe. I e-mailed and called in the next day and it was sorted. They also advised that certain fittings were not needed for the walk in wardrobe doors. They stressed that when the doors were delivered they should be stored flat to avoid bending. Also to use qualified joiners as a mistake in fitting could be costly. An excellent employee delivered the doors and laid them flat. He was most courteous and a credit to the firm as were all the Staff that I dealt with. There is no pressure sales but rather they educate you in what is involved and point out issues that could arrive. I found the extensive display of doors and fitting was most helpful.

A big thank you to the doors and floors team for supplying quality materials for my house referb. Norman really looked after us in helping us choose everything, providing advice on the wide range of flooring,doors,handles etc. A special thanks to the Joiners Paul and Tom for their expertise and non stop hard work in fitting everything perfectly. Will definitely use again and would wholeheartedly recommend them.
