We used DJing.ca for our wedding DJ. They were professional and helped us rent the tech we needed and connected us with the perfect dj for our event. Dave went the extra mile and scheduled a zoom meeting with me to connect and hear about our music needs. On the day I could request any song and he accommodated - he even let me DJ a bit! It was awesome.
Based on our experience: I do not recommend this company
I would not recommend hiring Djing.ca based on my personal experience. Unfortunately, the level of professionalism and reliability we expected for our wedding was not met.
The DJ assigned to our event arrived well after the scheduled setup time, which caused significant stress as the ceremony had already begun. Several key songs we had selected for important moments were not played correctly, which was very disappointing.
Throughout the planning process, communication with both the DJ and the company’s coordinator was inconsistent and often difficult. After the event, I reached out to express my concerns, but the company declined to offer any form of refund or resolution.
While I understand that not every event goes perfectly, the overall experience left us feeling unsupported and let down on a very important day. I’m sharing this to help others make an informed decision when choosing a DJ service.

They lack cultural knowledge, the ability to choose the right DJ and the professionalism necessary for execution. My wedding was an Indian, Nigerian, Jamaican wedding and they promised they understood cultural context yet their delivery / lack there of, revealed otherwise. The DJ was so late he arrived after my wedding had started so we have no music. The mics he brought never worked. He did not play anywdor our entrance or first dance. All the guests started getting annoyed and talked about the horrible DJ services so much so we were being asked where we found such terrible service from. This company ruined my wedding and took no accountability. Please don't use this company. It is a scam. They do not deliver what they advertise. We have so much evidence to prove this and we will be sharing more. Their service ruined our special day and they ghosted us after. Please please please do not use their service... Especially their DJ services. We will share more evidence soon!

We hired DJING.ca for our wedding in Toronto and I couldn’t be happier. After the initial phone call. I knew I made the right decision.
The process was simple and Gabriel was a fantastic Dj. The dance floor was packed all night.
I highly recommend hiring them for your event.
Thanks again !!

EDIT: Thank you for the response. I will update the review when/if I receive communication.
This is going to be a very long review, and for very good reason.
We booked them to do our wedding in September 2024 and this is an account of our experience:
We booked them for DJ and videography services. We also paid extra to have the video footage faster and ALL video footage instead of just the edit.
1. Our booking manager/rep was switched 3 times as I assume they go through staff quicker than a car dealership. This, in itself, would not be an issue if they were organized. For us, it meant having to re-explain the terms of their own contract to 3 different people and getting ghosted on a regular by this company.
2. We explicitly stated that the DJ was to show up in business casual. The DJ showed up in faded blue jeans and an already sweat-through Abercrombie t-shirt.
3. My wife was extremely organized. To the point where she had printed out a list that included a detailed timeline of the evening (including speech order etc.) and a large list of people to contact on the day of, in order of priority. This was emailed to all vendors 7 days before the even and even handed out the day of in case they did not receive or check their emails. The DJ approached the head table on multiple occasions in the middle of someone's speech to ask the bride and groom who was next or what was going on. Absolutely ridiculous.
4. DJ decided he would try and have a conversation with the MC (who was the brides brother) IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BRIDES SPEECH.
5. Videographer from VideoKings asked me for a testimonial right after the ceremony, right as my bride and I were talking amongst ourselves and getting ready for our first dance. When I politely refused and mentioned this was not the right time he was very insistent and pressured me to do so. Realizing that the videographer had hours left to film, I bit the bullet and did it. Ridiculous.
6. Emails and contract specified that the start and end time for the videographer was changeable, as long as the total time was not modified. More than 7 days before the event we emailed djing.ca, the videographer directly and even edited the start time on our profile on djing.ca. The Videographer showed up late, in a panic and missed out on us getting ready. To "make up" for this he "graciously" agreed to stay late. Absolutely ridiculous, I understand it being no big deal if this is a birthday, but this is a one time event and we paid, and made it clear, that he was to be here to capture those moments.
7. We paid for the express package (meaning we get the final video much faster than the standard package), and the video arrived late. When management was contacted, they used the excuse that the editor went on vacation. This was communicated to us AFTER the due date, instead of beforehand.
8. We were promised a refund because of the terrible experience we had with this company. Paula, one of the "managers" had the audacity to send us a refund request for $75, after spending thousands of dollars, this was a complete slap in the face.
9. We are now in mid January, and Paula has stopped answering altogether. We are now considering taking them to small-claims court to have this resolved as the contract was not followed.
These are only SOME of the issues we experienced when hiring this company. I could definitely go on.
TL;DR: Unless you are corporate, don't even bother. They're really not worth the headache.
TL;DR for djing.ca: People deserve better.

Used DJING.CA for our wedding reception. DJ Julius was amazing and kept everyone dancing for the whole night and was able to read the crowd and kept the party going. Received a lot of compliments about our DJ and he made our night really fun and memorable. DJING.CA, was easy to work with and was prompt with our inquiries and sent reminders on regular basis to ensure everything goes smoothly and they understand what we need for our wedding reception. I recommend Djing.ca for wedding reception. Music was important to us and DJ Julius did an amazing job! 😊
Terrible sales team. I sent an enquiry through wedding wire and I am blown away at the phone call I got from their sales Rep Adrian. When I said we are working with a budget and shopping around for the best price on a DJ, the response I got was "oh so you mean you're looking for terrible service and a terrible DJ?". What a stupid question. Are you serious? Who trained this guy in sales? Definitely not booking through DJing.ca
I contacted them to make a phone call and they were super helpful and the website was really easy to use and understand, they also gave me a text message to remind me the call was in 30 minutes. Once on the call the gentlemen that call me was beyond nice and friendly, after I explained that I didn’t have a interest in their services at this time and that I wanted a quote for a school project he still keep up his nice attitude and helped me out
