Jan, the owner of Dive Team, goes above and beyond to make sure you not only feel safe and comfortable when out diving with him and his team, but to make it a day full of fun - allowing you to reconnect to the sea and why you got into SCUBA in the first place (or make you fall in love with it as a new hobby ;). Diving with Jan and his wonderful team goes beyond the time you spend underwater, and in the diving industry in particular, it is an experience you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.

Jan and his team are absolutely awesome! I felt so safe while being encouraged to go and explore and have looooots of fun! It's a place where special connections are created amongst divers but also where you feel the passion for the ocean and conservation. If you are looking for a safe, fun, passionate, responsible, caring dive team, this is the place! I can't wait to be back and explore the beautiful kelp forests while giggling with pure joy! No doubt, best place in Simon's Town/Cape Town! And they got lots of experience with underwater photography! so that's a big plus as well!

Two other dive centres would not service my Mares regs for me, claiming difficulty getting parts, but Jan came through, as ever, and my regs are good as new.

We (Science Saves Sharks, a non-profit) hosted a snorkel excursion for exchange students from Stellenbosch Uni to raise awareness about the importance of the False Bay hope spot. It was quite difficult to organise snorkel gear for such a big group. but Dive Team was SO helpful and played a big role in the day's success. Thanks Jan!!!

Equipping a big group for snorkeling can be a challenge, so we were happy to assist in any way we could. Dive Team est un excellent centre de plongée. Je suis pas un plongeur très expérimenté (20 plongées) mais j'étais très à l'aise et parfaitement entouré. Quelque soit votre niveau, vous serez bien accueilli. Jan saura vous guider dans la baie pour y plonger, malgré la météo pouvant être capricieuse. Du bon matériel et une équipe passionnée pour partir à la découverte du "Cape of Storms" ! Let's get wet !

If I could give this dive shop 10 stars I WOULD! My experience with Dive Team was nothing short of exceptional. My boyfriend and I were in Cape Town for a week. I had been looking to get open water certified for a while and he was looking to get his advanced certification. From the moment we inquired about their services to the final dive, Jan’s staff was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. The equipment was top-notch and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dive every time. The dive locations were stunning, showcasing the best of what the underwater world has to offer in Cape Town. I especially appreciated the personalized attention and guidance from my instructor Kyle (you rock man) making me feel comfortable and confident throughout each dive. I highly recommend Dive Team to anyone looking for an unforgettable scuba diving experience!

I booked the daily Seal & Kelp forest diving package and i'm very positive about the dive team. They are very professional, have good equipment and excellent knowledge of the dive sites. As a scuba diver with very less dives I was anxious in getting out in the water again. Jan and Kyle made a big effort by making me feel comfortable and safe. Not sure if it was as much fun for them as for me at the end ;-) but huge thanks for their patient. We saw great kelp forest and had a dive with many playful seals. Would recommend them to anyone!! I had to get my regulators serviced and looked over again after a service was not done correctly by another... Took my set to Dive Team for service and Jan explained to me what they have done and why they had to do so. I can rest assure that my kit is like brand new. Thank you to Jan and everyone at Dive Team, see you soon again
