I understand why this is one of the most poorly rated Canada Post outlets around. Most of the staff are easy to talk to and helpful/understanding. There is one younger woman though, who has been mentioned here in other comments, that is possibly the most condescending, apathetic and painful person I have ever had to deal with in any kind of retail/service setting. I ship and receive a lot of parcels and try not to come to this location for anything other than a simple drop off because of her. Every time I deal with her, she tries to tell me that the amount of postage I have on my packages is incorrect and tries to charge me more. When mailing a small package in Canada that can fit the dimensions of an oversized letter for just over $2 or $5, I do not have to pay $18 for a parcel rate, thank you. You're lying. It's also a hassle to pick up Amazon parcels from her. She questions addresses, doesn't seem to understand the difference between a residential/home address and mailing address, and is so dogmatic that she refuses to consider other options (though they are clearly available). I have never had a single issue at the London Drugs outlet or Millstream Village outlet with any of the services I use. As I told her, it's not a problem with the Canada Post system, it's a problem with her. I'll be using the LD location from now on.
If I could give 0 stars to Canada Post, I would. I made an online order from Best Buy and they did expedited shipping through Canada Post. My package is nearly a week late. It says it’s available for pickup but no one at Canada Post can tell me where to pick it up (I’ve gone in-person, online, customer support, phoned, chat, opened a service ticket). No one can tell me the location where I can pick it up. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE SETUP FOR TRACKING PACKAGES.
The day girl with the glasses at this location has zero personality, she won’t even close a sealable envelope for you, too outta scope for that government pay I guess. She quoted me two weeks for a regular mail item to Alberta, um, regular mail takes 5 days from Sask…replace her with someone that’s actually friendly and wants their job.
