So the first quote was $79000 then he said he’d give us 40 percent off although he didn’t have to as it was the 4/7 so now it’s 39000 , he was rude aggressive and no respect to my 80 yr old mother , his reason the next day when I talked to him was he’d had a cold and wasn’t sleeping well , then I got a call from the manager two days later apologizing and offered 23000 dollar price , these guys are unbelievable with their tactics to screw people out of money , we got another quote of a local company and they are fitting them for 13000 dollars with extras , modern group should be reported somehow , 0 stars if I could

Had a salesman out, talked for 1.5 hours and wouldn't stop, played the ill ring my boss to get a better price, done that twice, he was over selling, somehow started at 10k for the job and after ringing his boss twice come down to 4800, so shadey, don't recommend at all, go local and save the hassle. 1.5 hours ill never get back

Whilst a little more expensive than other quotes, these shutters are the best quality I have seen by far. The sales rep, Herschel Kleviansky was passionate about his product and took the time to thoroughly explain every detail of the process from manufacture to fitting. I can’t wait to see these beautiful shutters installed. Oh and the wait time is nowhere near as long as other companies because they are made here in Australia. +++

For those reviews wondering why Modern Group requires your "partner" or mother/father to be present with you is because of a scam loophole that locks you in to a deal if two are present at the time of the sales pitch.
I had a horrible experience where the salesman wouldn't leave our house after 3 hours and quotes that were triple the price of two other major outlets.
Please don't use this company. I'm surprised they're still in existence.

Some of the roller shutters that I have had installed by other companies have not lasted well and have corroded close to the ocean. The modern shutters that I have on my upstairs balcony facing the ocean have been there for 20 years and still not corroded. modern will have my business in the future.

Scott was authentic and did all he could to give us a great price on our little place. He didn’t hesitate to walk us through the whole process and options. But it was the fact that Modern are the only made in Australia with WA ingenuity a no brainer for us.

Just had Scott Kelly from Modern Group over to give me a quote on roller shutters. You know how usually you have someone who doesn’t deviate off a script ? Well Scott is not that guy! Easy to talk to, listened to what I actually wanted, real conversation and delivered what I asked for in the budget I could work with. I only review when I’m impressed. If you’re looking for Roller shutters Modern Group WA is the one to ring. I’ll update once the jobs finished.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Herschel into our home to take measurements on obtaining outdoor blinds. Not only was Herschel friendly, and helpful, he had good humour too. Had looked at a couple of roof resteration entities but couldn't go past Modern Group. Scott Kelly was very thorough and didn't try to baffle us with sales speak. Showed us what work was required and why. Had the opportunity of overselling to us but was honest and kept it realistic. Look forward to the finished product and to update this review with pictures.
