our experience with the store was poor unfortunately. we bought a mattress which was supposed to be delivered in 4-6 weeks but it ended up being delivered after 9 weeks and many chasing. I can't remember how many times I needed to call them and ask for the status of the delivery. the mattress seem to be fine so far but I was really disappointed with the schedule especially for a product which is important to keep the promised times.

Just over 5 years ago (and hence just out of warranty) I purchased a single bed, with trundle bed underneath, with headboard, from Belfast Beds Superstore in Cambridge. In order to be sure the upper mattress was of higher quality, I paid extra to upgrade one mattress. Being in a spare bedroom, the bed has been used only sporadically, such that total usage of the ownership period is of order 6 months. Nevertheless, the mattress has suddenly "broken" with a large gouge running longways down the centre, making it unusable. The mattress is a "Hush-a-Bye Options Pocket". I wrote to Belfast Beds on 3 March asking for a replacement, but received no response, not even an acknowledgement, hence this posting. I note that other reasonably-priced mattresses now have as much as a 15 year guarantee from other sources. I therefore recommend against buying a bed from Belfast Beds.

Dear John, I'm sorry you have had a problem with one of your mattresses from Hush a Bye. Unfortunately as you are aware this is outside of the 5 years so could not be replaced under warranty (we did try!) as a gesture of goodwill we did offer you an extra 30% off any new mattress from ourselves . Good selection of beds. And mattresses. It's important to try them out. Not buying on line. Hard to get through on the phone at times. And the drop off people didn't call ahead. But went smoothly. Reccomended

Good store of coldhams lane just under the railway bridge, bought things from there before and was always happy, prices vary alot so it's worth checking for getting beds / mattresses in the price range what you are happy with , always found them helpful as well
